A special gold edition swan boat has hit the water at Downtwon Orlando's Lake Eola. Celebrating 100 years of swan boats and a century of memories on the water! Since 1925, Orlando’s iconic swan boats have been bringing people together from all over the world for amazing views, smiles, and unforgettable moments on Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando. And now, the City of Orlando is marking the milestone with the debut of a stunning gold swan boat! Plan your paddle for Lake Eola's swan boats, including the brand-new special edition gold awan! The City of Orlando rents pedal-powered swan boats on historic Lake Eola so guests can view the park from the lake and enjoy the fountain up close.  Hours of Operation: Tuesday - Sunday, 10 am - 7 pm.  Closed on Mondays. They do not take reservations. Swan boats are available first-come, first-served, weather permitting. Swan boats can be rented up to 30 minutes before close.  Tickets are only available at Lake Eola and cost $15 for a 30 minute rental. They accept debit or credit only. Before becoming Ripley’s newest showstopper, this gleaming commode dazzled the art world at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in 2016. Tasty Chomps has announced the sad news that Little Saigon, one of the longest-running Vietnamese restaurants in Orlando will close the doors forever on December 28. Located in the Mills 5 District, at 1106 East Colonial Drive, Little Saigon is closing due to brother and sister team, Vu Nguyen and Mai Huynh who have run the restaurant since Little Saigon’s opening in1987 are retiring, and with the lease expiring in the building that has housed the restaurant since opening, the timing seems right.  Vu Nguyen and Mai Huynh are inviting customers to pop in for one last meal before they close forever on December 28, and say bye. Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild November 14 - January 18 This holiday season, the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens will glow once again as it hosts the Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild, presented by Publix! Step into a world of light and color like you’ve never seen before. Wander the three-quarter-mile pathway filled with all-new, handcrafted lantern scenes, each glowing with thousands of LED lights. Orlando Collected April 12 - January 11 In honor of Orlando’s 150th anniversary, the Orange County Regional History Center offers a glimpse into some of the most fascinating and rarely seen items from the city’s history with our newest special exhibition, Orlando Collected . A Dickens Christmas: The Urban Family’s Holiday Exhibition November 1 - January 11 Twinkling lights, themed trees, and timeless holiday charm — “A Dickens Christmas: The Urban Family’s Holiday Exhibition” is back at the Appleton Museum of Art, Ocala. Kissimmee Festival of Lights November 29 - January 6 Downtown Kissimmee shines bright this holiday season during the Festival of Lights, a free celebration transforming the heart of the city into a glowing holiday destination. Thousands of twinkling white lights stretch across Broadway, side streets, and Kissimmee Lakefront Park, creating a magical atmosphere for families, couples, and visitors to enjoy nightly. Dawoud Bey’s Evergreen at OMA June 6 - January 6 Dawoud Bey’s Evergreen depicts haunting images captured at the Evergreen Plantation of Wallace, Louisiana. Installed across three video channels, the work scans the grounds of the most intact plantation complex still standing in the United States. The work captures swaths of trees and the remnants of living quarters of the historically enslaved Black people . Eola Wonderland - Downtown For The Holidays December 5 - January 6 Experience the enchantment of the holiday stroll. Spread cheer by shopping locally at the Merry Market. To Catch A Dream: Florida Watercolor Society Exhibition at OMA September 13 - January 4 The exhibition includes 100 watercolors by FWS members selected by a distinguished juror, award-winning watercolor artist, Matthew Bird, whose work has been featured in major art magazines.  Holidays at Universal Orlando Resort November 21 - January 4 Are you ready for Holidays at Universal? Dr Phillips Center is turning its frontyard, Seneff Arts Plaza into an enchanting winter wonderland full of free festive fun all month long, including live entertainment, holiday movies on the big screen, visits with Santa, eats and treats, holiday crafts, nightly tree lighting ceremony and snow flurries, plus so much more! Tis the Season in Winter Garden December 5 - January 4 Downtown Winter Garden transforms into a magical Holiday Wonderland as the sights and sounds of the season complement its historic small town-charm. Magic of Lights November 21 - January 3 This holiday season, the World Center of Racing will transform into a festive wonderland with Magic of Lights! From November 21 through January 3, guests can enjoy a dazzling drive-through experience featuring more than two million holiday lights and displays. Spanning over a mile and a half, the event is designed for you to take in the magic from the comfort of your vehicle. Cranes Roost Park Light Up the Holidays December 8 – January 1 The City of Altamonte Springs and Duke Energy celebrate the tradition of lighting up Cranes Roost Park with live music, entertainment, fireworks, train rides, along with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Watch as the park comes alive with spectacular holiday displays featuring 200,000 lights and a 60-foot tree decorated with thousands of ornaments and garland. Christmas Wonderland at Dezerland Park November 1 - December 31, Select Dates Dezerland Park Orlando transforms into a Christmas Wonderland holiday experience, where guests can ice skate, meet Santa and his elves, and enjoy hands-on holiday fun for all ages. Now Snowing Nightly November 29 - December 31 Now Snowing, Central Florida’s original and premier “Snowing” event, offers one of the area’s only synthetic ice rinks, special community performances by some of the area’s top young talent, and special concert events throughout the season. Holidays In Space at Kennedy Space Center December 21 - December 30 Holidays in Space at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is a seasonal event that transforms the complex into a holiday-themed space wonderland. Festive holiday décor takes over the visitor complex throughout the entire month of December. The favorite 50-foot tree with more than 61,000 pixels of light returns this year, the expanded Rocket Tree Trail, six-foot-tall astronaut nutcrackers, the NASA meatball-turned-holiday ornament and so much more. Tampa Bay Festival of Lights & Santa's Village November 27 - December 28 Enjoy an expanded holiday light spectacular at Hillsburgh County Fairgrounds that will envelop you and your family in an enchanting environment blanketed in more than a million lights from entrance to exit. Winter Wonderland 2025 at Wekiva Island November 30 - December 25, Select Dates Wekiva Island’s long-awaited Winter Wonderland is back again, and we’re excited to celebrate the festive season all December long. Christmas in the Park December 4 Each year, the Morse Museum helps launch the holiday season in Winter Park when it lights up Tiffany windows in Central Park and presents the Bach Festival Choir and Brass Ensemble in concert. This December is the 47th annual celebration of Christmas in the Park. Christmas in the Park was started by Hugh and Jeannette McKean, the Morse Museum’s benefactors, in 1979 as a way to share a part of their rare Tiffany collection with the public in an informal setting. Today, the Morse and the City of Winter Park co-sponsor the event. Oviedo Tree Lighting December 4 The City of Oviedo's annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration will be on December 4, 2025 , at Center Lake Park. Old Town Cruiser Holiday Toy Drive December 5 - 6 Make a difference for the children and young adults in Osceola County this holiday season.
