With darkness settled over the island, Spanish moss swaying in the breeze and moonlight shining over the silent river, Wekiva Island is the perfect backdrop this spooky season!
Wekiva Island has announced that its popular annual Halloween costume contest is returning for 2023, with fun night taking place on Saturday, October 28.
There will be live music from the Hindu Cowboys as well as drink specials. The top individual prize is $500 cash and a $500 Wekiva Island gift card.
The top group also takes home a cabana rental and food and drink package.
Prizes include:
The Island’s choice “Wekiva’s Wickedest” — $500 cash and a $500 Wekiva Island gift card
First place — $300 cash and a $200 Wekiva Island gift card
Second place — $250 cash and a $100 Wekiva Island gift card
Third place — $150 cash and a $50 Wekiva Island gift card
Best group — Beach Club cabana rental, including a case of beer, a case of Nutrl, and a cabana feast from up to 15 guests
The contest is only open to those 21+. Admission is free.
