CityArts Café celebrates One-Year Anniversary with Free Coffee, Sweet Treats, Live Art and more

On November 12 The all-day celebration on November 12 featires free Lacazza Coffee and a special one-day-only martini happy hour!

Cheers to one year!  Downtown Orlando’s dynamic arts and cultural organization, the Downtown Arts District, invites the community to celebrate the first anniversary of CityArts Café on Thursday, November 12, 2026.  The all-day celebration will feature complimentary coffee, pastries, live art, music, espresso martinis and the launch of a special giveaway.  Located adjacent to CityArts Orlando in the historic Rogers Kiene Building, CityArts Café has become a welcoming downtown destination for coffee, light bites and creativity, while supporting Orlando’s local arts community.

To celebrate its first birthday, CityArts Café is treating guests to a full day of festivities and specials starting with complimentary freshly brewed Lavazza coffee from 8am-10am.  Guests can also enjoy a free pastry from local favorite Olde Hearth Bread Company with any purchase from 8am-4pm.  Throughout the day, local artists will bring their creativity to life with live painting, adding an artistic flair to the anniversary events.

As the celebration continues, guests can raise a glass to one year with a special Espresso Martini Happy Hour from 4pm-6pm, offering Lavazza espresso martinis for a suggested donation of $10 (available at CityArts Café for the anniversary only), plus DJ entertainment.  The café will also kick off a special monthlong giveaway during the anniversary celebration, offering guests the chance to win a pair of round-trip Brightline tickets, while encouraging visitors to share their reviews of CityArts Café.

“CityArts Café was created to be more than just a place to grab a great cup of coffee,” says Downtown Arts District Executive Director Barbara Hartley.  “We wanted to create a welcoming space where people could connect, enjoy local art and experience the creativity that makes Downtown Orlando so special.  “It’s been wonderful to see that vision come to life over the past year, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way.  What better way to celebrate our first anniversary than by inviting the community to join us for a fun day filled with what we are most proud of – coffee and local art!”

CityArts Café proudly serves Lavazza coffee, including espresso-based beverages, drip coffee, tea and other refreshments, along with freshly baked pastries from Olde Hearth Bread Company. 

The café also features artwork from Downtown Arts District’s rotating 3rd Thursday exhibitions, creating a unique atmosphere where visitors can enjoy coffee while connecting with local art. A portion of café proceeds supports local artists and arts programming.

Hours of operation are Tuesday thru Sunday 8 am - 3pm.
