Walt Disney World Water Parks both open for Summer 2026 with dates revealed offering Free Entry for Hotel Guests

Get ready to splash into summer at Walt Disney World with both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach parks open at the same time this summer. Plus Free Water Park Dates revealed for hotel guest from May to September 2026
Walt Disney World has revealed today, Monday, January 6, that Cool Kid's Summer is back at the resort from May 26 to September 8, 2026, bringing attraction refreshes, new experiences, and limited-time activities designed for the whole family.
In addition to all the new fun coming to the resort, Walt Disney World has announced that Disney announced that both of the resorts water parks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will operate simultaneously throughout Cool Kids' Summer.
This will only be the second time that both water parks will be open together since 2019. In recent years Walt Disney World has typically only operated one water park at a time while the other undergoes refurbishment. This changed last year with the debut of Cool Kids Summer,
In addition to both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach operating simultaneously throughout Cool Kids' Summer, Walt Disney World has revealed that the free water park entry perk for guests staying at select resort hotels would return this summer.
Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel between May 26 and September 8, 2026, can enjoy free admission to one of the Walt Disney World water parks on their check-in day, and with both water parks open throughout this time, guests can choose which water park to visit.
