Start your holiday season on November 27 at Dr Phillips Center with hilarity at a special s35th Anniversary creening of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation followed by an appearance by Clark Griswold himself, Chevy Chase.
Chase will share behind-the-scenes stories and anecdotes about the making of this beloved movie that has become a Christmas tradition. But the laughter doesn't stop there! Chase also will be taking questions from the audience, giving you the chance to hear from Chevy about his legendary career, from SNL to Caddyshack. Like Clark Griswold says, “We're gonna have the hap, hap, happiest Christmas".
Chevy Chase in person is the perfect holiday gift for everyone on Santa’s “nice” list – and the “naughty” one as well.

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
As the holidays approach, Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) wants to have a perfect family Christmas, so he pesters his wife, Ellen (Beverly D’Angelo), and children, as he tries to make sure everything is in line, including the tree and house decorations. However, things go awry quickly. His hick cousin, Eddie (Randy Quaid), and his family show up unplanned and start living in their camper on the Griswold property. Even worse, Clark’s employers renege on the holiday bonus he needs....
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation was released for the holiday season in 1989, performing well at the box office, grossing $73.3 million against a $25 million budget.
At the time of release the movie received generally mixed reviews from critics, but is now regarded as a true Christmas Classic.
