The Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom now closed for refurbishment

Sorry foolish mortals, but the Haunted Mansion at Magic kingdom is closed right now!

The Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom is now closed for a brief period of refurbishment.

The attraction is set to reopen on August 10, 2023, the day before the first of this year's after hours Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on August 11.

Walt Disney World says that the closure is for routine refurbishment and not related to the ongoing work which began on August 1 to add the Hatbox Ghost to the attraction, which is expected to open later this year.
