The first Holiday Season Decorations appear at Universal Orlando Resort

From dazzling decorations to unforgettable entertainment, the Holiday season at Universal Orlando is amazing, and the resort has started decorating already!

Universal Orlando Resort's destination-wide Holiday celebration kicks off next month, and uests can experience a mix of merry and mischief brought to life from holiday classics to experiences inspired by pop culture icons, creating a memorable holiday atmosphere unlike any other beginning Friday, November 17 and running daily through Sunday, December 31, and Universal Team Members are busy getting ready, with decorating already appearing in Islands Of Adventure.

It takes a team of 14 very dedicated elves working 40 hours a week for nine months to prepare all the holiday decorations for installation.

The team begins putting them up in mid-October in Universal Islands of Adventure and as soon as Halloween Horror Nights is finished at Universal Studios Florida.

Everything they put up around the parks gets touched up, refreshed, or outright changed to be even more show-stopping. The holidays feature all things bright and shiny, and this team of experts makes sure the decorations stay that way.

Universal's Holiday Parade featuring Macy's

Catch larger-than-life balloons plus appearances by Illumination’s Minions and characters from DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek and Madagascar films.
