Popcorn Flicks in the Park returns to Winter Park on Sept. 10 with Shrek 2
The City of Winter Park and Enzian Theater present the free monthly Popcorn Flicks in the Park under the stars in Central Park.
The Popcorn Flicks in the Park series features classic films for the whole family. These films are usually held on the second Thursday of each month in Central Park, Winter Park. The best part is that every movie night is free and open to the public! Everyone is encouraged to bring a blanket, a picnic or snacks, and some family and friends to join the fun.
The latest Popcorn Flicks in the Park takes place on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 8 pm, with the fun for all the family Shrek 2! Grab the fam and make your way to Central Park and get ready for laughs with Shrek and Donkey on the huge outdoor scree,
Just a small note of caution though folks, the outdoor screenings in Winter Park are dependent upon our famously unpredictable weather conditions. Organizers may wait until 30 minutes prior to the set screening time to officially post a cancellation notice; which will be posted on Enzian's Facebook.

Shrek 2
Happily ever after never seemed so far far away when a trip to meet the in-laws turns into a hilariously twisted adventure for Shrek (Mike Myers) and Fiona (Cameron Diaz). With the help of his faithful Donkey (Eddie Murphy), Shrek takes on a potion-brewing Fairy Godmother, the pompous Prince Charming (Rupert Everett), and the ogre-killer, Puss In Boots (Antonio Banderas) who's a pussycat at heart.
Pack your blankets, lawn chairs, and enjoy a fun night under the stars.
