Pom Pom's Sandwiches is back with Pom hosting a grand opening celebration at Henry’s Depot in Sanford on June 28

Pom Pom’s is bringing its delicious sandwiches to Henry's Depot Food Hall in Sanford.

Much to the disappointment of regulars, The popular Milk District cafe, Pom Pom’s Teahouse & Sandwicheria closed its doors on Friday, October 4, 202, but thankfully can't keep a great business idea down forever, with Pom Pom's announcing back in February, that it was making a comeback, opening within Henry's Depot Food Hall in Sanford.
At the time, Pom Moongauklang the owner of Pom Pom's, together with her new business partner, Vinnie Nguyen, announced that the timing, space and partnership of coming to Henry’s Depot Food Hall on W. First Street was too good an opportunity to miss.
Fast forward to now, and we finally have the news that the business is ready to open its doors officially, having soft opened back in May.
Pom Pom's Sandwiches will host it's grand opening at Henry's Depot this Saturday, June 28. The details are still being finalized , but Pom is promising, "Same heart. Same magic. New home. If you’ve missed us or never had the chance, this is your moment."
The business is open seven days per week, 11 am - 8 pm, offering a deicious choice of speciality sandwiches, chopped salads, soup, together with a kids menu.

Pom Pom’s Teahouse & Sandwicheria had dbeen a fixture in the Mills 50 District for nearly 20 years, serving customers from its location at 67 N. Bumby Ave. since 2005.

At the time of the closure, Moongauklang stressed that she was not retiring, and closing the business to pursue a new chapter in her life, promising to make an announcement of her next concept and creation soon, which turns out to be a move to Sanford!
Henry's Depot is s a food hall featuring local food vendors and a cocktail bar featuring live music and events.
Located at 212 W 1st St, Sanford, Henry's Depot includes The Basin, Sweet & Salty, The Current, Chin, Yugiri Ramen Project, and more.
Regular events include car shows, markets and live music.
