The 191st Oktoberfest takes place from Sept. 19 – Oct 4, 2026 in Munich, Germany and here in Orlando you can celebrate too, with events from early September through until late October.
The first Oktoberfest took place in Munich back in 1810 to celebrate the wedding of the Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese of Sachsen-Hildburghausen. Since it was so well-received, the festival was repeated in the following years, and the rest as they say is history...
While Germany is the home of Oktoberfest, Orlando loves its food and drink festivals too, so it's no surprise that there are tons of Oktoberfest events happening throughout the area, with celebrations taking place from early September through until late October.
To help you celebrate, we've brought together all the best Oktoberfest events throughout Central Florida in 2026, celebrating beer, pretzels, music and more! Prost!

SIDETOBERFEST, is Sideward Brewing's annual Oktoberfest celebration in unison with opening day in Munich, now lasting the whole weekend long, baby! This means two whole days of enjoying the biergarten, an entire special menu of German-inspired fare, litres and litres of Sausage Fingers, and live entertainment. traditional trachten encouraged!

Mark your calendars for an unforgettable day of brews, bites, and Bavarian fun at Home State Brewing Co. in Horizon West. There will be a live Polka Band, Stein Holding Competition, Dunk Tank, Carnival Games, Food Specials, Beer Puppeteers, and more.

ProstFest is back at Ivanhoe Park Lager House! Join us for an afternoon celebrating the art of German lager homebrewing with unlimited tastings from 15+ talented homebrewers competing for glory—and the chance to brew their winning recipe with us! Sample a wide variety of authentic German-style lagers, then cast your vote for the People's Choice Award while our judging panel selects the Judges' Choice winner. The grand prize? The winning brewer will have the opportunity to brew their recipe with Ivanhoe Park Lager House. Oktoberfest is back, and better than ever at The Oviedo Amphitheatre in Center Lake Park! This three day festival event features authentic German beer, food, music, entertainment, contests and more! Orlando Trachtenverein and King Guys Oktoberfest Brass Band will be the featured performers.
September 26
Steins up, Lake Nona Oktoberfest is coming to Lake Nona Town Center, with Park Pizza & Brewing Co. pouring specialty brews crafted just for the occasion. Show your strength at the stein-hoisting competition, groove to live music from Slickwood, and soak up German-themed entertainment, vendors and more. Ever tried sauerbraten or schnitzel? Now's your chance. A full menu of traditional German fare, pretzels, and festive bites from Park Pizza and Hollerbach's will be served up all night. This event is free and open to the public, no ticket needed.

Join us for Lake Nona's annual Stein Hoisting Competition as a part of our Oktoberfest celebration! The Women's competition will take place at 6 pm and the Men's Competition will be at 8 pm. The competitor who can hold their stein with proper form as described in the rules below for the longest amount of time without being disqualified by the judge will be considered the winner. An infraction of any rule will result in disqualification. Each Stein will hold 1 liter of beer and weigh about five pounds when full. Each participant will get to take home their comemorative glass stein after the competition!

Celebrate Oktoberfest with german cheer, dancing and singing to cooler weather and colder beer along the Hillsborough river downtown at the Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park this Oktober 9, 10, and 11. Oktoberfest Tampa 2026 is a time to unwind and make new friends. Learn new customs and sing a few songs. Help us tap the inaugural keg Friday, Oktober 9th, as we open the doors to Tampa's largest Oktoberfest.

Prost! Celebrate October at this Free Family Event in Downtown Avalon Park. Get ready for two days of festive fun! On Friday, October 9, from 5 - 10 pm, enjoy a Beer Garden Preview in Town Park, then on Saturday, October 10 from 5 - 1 0 pm its themain event! The Avalon Park Community Festival and Beer Garden, enjoy the Beer Garden, Live Bands, Alpine Dancing, Food Trucks, Vendors, Kids Area & Bounce Park, Weiner Dog Races, Teen Area, and aKids Entrepreneur Market. Bring your friends, wear your lederhosen, and celebrate fall with us in Avalon Park!

Main Street Winter Haven's 19th Annual Oktoberfest presented will kick off October 9, at 6:00 PM in Central Park, Downtown Winter Haven. We will have over 30 German, American, and Craft beers to taste! Buy a tasting ticket and sample as many of the beers as you'd like! Single beers will be available for purchase at the MSWH tent sponsored by Bernie Little Distributors. Bratwurst, and German food available for purchase. Wine available for purchase, including traditional German favorites. Live music, and make sure to sign up to participate in the Stein Hoisting Contest, Admission is FREE if you want to enjoy food and music WITHOUT partaking in the beer tasting, please bring a chair (no coolers).
October 16 - 18
A fall celebration of music and food. On Friday join the DeLeon Family Oktoberfest Band on the Oval Lawn for an amazing concert under the stars. The Boktoberfest celebration continues on Saturday and Sunday with the Brussel Sprouts German Polk Band live on Cafe Terrace. Enjoy three delicious German food experiences and brews crafted by Chef Matt Fulwood and the Blue Palmetto Café team.
October 16 - 17
Save the Date for Hollerbach's Oktoberfest! in Downtown Sanford. This Oktoberfest festival brings incredible German food, drink and entertainment to Magnolia Square! As always, admission and parking is free. Hollerbucks are required to redeem outdoor food and drink on Friday and Saturday – available on-site day of event. Food and beverage stands will not be accepting cash or cards on these two days, only Hollerbucks. The beer lineup includes Erdinger Weiss, Erdinger Oktoberfest, and Paulaner Oktoberfest. Authentic food favorites include sizzling sausages, fresh pretzels, and all your Oktoberfest classics! Entertainment includes Pech & Schwefel, German Dancers, King Guys, Stein Holding Contest, and more! Grab your Dirndls and Lederhosen – this is one weekend you won’t want to miss!
