Oviedo Mall to host “The Great Geek Gathering” on Free Comic Book Day

The event will feature a mall-wide vendor marketplace, fandom-focused experiences, and activities for comic, gaming, and pop culture fans of all kinds.

Fans of comics, gaming, anime, and all things geek will unite at Oviedo Mall

on Saturday, May 2 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM for the inaugural Great Geek Gathering, a free, all-

ages celebration of fandom culture.

Timed perfectly with the nationally recognized Free Comic Book Day, the event invites guests to

immerse themselves in a day packed with pop culture experiences, local vendors, and interactive fun.

At the center of the action, Ultimate Comics will be offering free comic books while supplies last, along

with a special pop-up warehouse sale featuring exclusive deals for collectors and newcomers alike.

Throughout the mall, attendees can explore a curated marketplace featuring vendors representing a wide

range of fandoms, including comics, gaming, anime, sci-fi, fantasy, and handmade geek-inspired

merchandise. From collectibles and artwork to cosplay accessories and unique gifts, the Great Geek

Gathering aims to create a vibrant hub for fans of all ages.
