Orlando Museum of Art opens doors wide on Thursday, May 15, for latest Free Access for All Event

An ongoing partnership with the Art Bridges Foundation enables free access to the museum each month.

The Orlando Museum of Art (OMA) has announced its next Access for All event, offering free admission this coming Thursday, May 15, from 10 am - 8 pm, in partnership with the Art Bridges Foundation.
This initiative underscores OMA’s ongoing mission to foster a welcoming, inclusive environment where all individuals can experience the transformative impact of art.
“At the Orlando Museum of Art, we believe that art should be within reach for everyone,” said Cathryn Mattson, CEO of the Orlando Museum of Art. “Thanks to the Art Bridges Foundation, visitors can experience the power of art firsthand, without barriers, every single month.”

Events in the May 15 schedule include:
2:30 - 3:30 pm - Gallery Talk
An informal tour of the museum galleries.
3- 4 pm - Triple "O" Interactive Art Game
This innovative experience, held in OMA’s auditorium, aims to transform the way audiences engage with and experience art.
3:30 - 4:30 pm - Gallery Talk (Spanish)
5 - 7 pm - Sketching in the Galleries
Drawing and sketching supplies will be available for artists of all ages to use.
7 - 8 pm - Highlights Tour
Follow along with a docent highlighting various works from gallery to gallery.
Guests are also encouraged to view the museum’s current exhibitions, including Relationships: A Love for Collecting.
“Every Access for All day allows us to create opportunities for visitors to connect with art in meaningful ways,” said Coralie Claeysen-Gleyzon, Chief Curator of the Orlando Museum of Art. “By welcoming all members of the community to explore our collections, we hope to spark curiosity and foster a lasting appreciation for the diverse narratives and creativity that art offers.”
In addition to free admission, Access for All events feature guided tours and enriching gallery activities, providing visitors with opportunities to engage with art in a variety of ways. All are welcome to attend and experience the beauty and wonder of art in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
