With yet another cold front pushing into Central Florida, a visit to one of the areas water parks is not going to happen, with all major water parks closing in the days ahead.

The cold temperatures in Central Florida just keep on coming, and despite a slight warm up today, Friday, Janauary 10, yet another cold front arrives tomorrow Saturday, forcing the major water parks to temporarily close over the weekend, and possibly even longer.

Already this week, Disney's Blizzard Beach, Universal's Volcano Bay, and SeaWorld's Aquatica were all closed for three days this week due to low temps, from Tuesday, Jan. 7 - Thursday, Jan. 9.

A slight rise in daytime temps today, Friday saw highs reaching the low 70s, allowing all three water parks to reopen today, but now as our next cold front moves through tomorrow morning bringing daytime highs only in the low 60s, a new round of closures have been announced for the water parks.

Currently, Disney's Blizzard Beach is scheduled to be open Saturday, Jan.11 from 10.30 am - 5 pm, and closed Sunday, Jan. 12

While both Universal's Volcano Bay and SeaWorld's Aquatica will be closed Saturday, Jan.11, and closed Sunday, Jan. 12.

Disney's Blizzard Beach, and SeaWorld's Aquatica are scheduled to reopen on Monday, Jan. 13, with Universal's Volcano Bay closed Monday, Jan. 13 and Tuesday, Jan. 14 for regular winter maintenance.

Whether the water parks open next week remains to be see as the average daytime high through Friday is currently showing temps only reaching the low 60s.

From Monday through Friday, temperatures will stay well below normal, with temps dropping even further, with daytime highs only reaching 60 degrees, with nighttime lows in the 30s.
