How does a move to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, near the gateway to The Great Smoky Mountains sound? Well, Dolly Parton and the team at Dollywood Parks and Resorts could hep yo with that!
For the first time ever, Dollywood is hosting entertainment auditions for the 2024 season right here in Orlando.
Dollywood’s entertainment team is looking to cast for a variety of full time entertainment positions for a variety of productions. They require singers, singers who can dance, improvisational actors, costumed characters, and character performers.
The auditions will take place on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at the SpringHill Suites Orlando at Flamingo Crossings.
These full time positions begin as early as February 2024. Contracts range from February – October, March – October, May – August, September – October, and October – January.
Requirements:
Singers:
Versatile singers (country/pop/rock)
Sopranos/Altos with a strong present belt in the pop/country style
Tenors with a strong range A3 to C5
Bass with a strong range of C2 to E4
Individuals with experience in A Cappella music (pop/modern a cappella style)
Beatboxers who can sing
Performers (singer dancers) with experience being a Swing/learning multiple roles
Singers who dance and/or move well
Looking for movers and dancers who can sing well.
Character Performers/Costumed Performers who have a passion for engaging with our guests through meet and greets, walk arounds, interacting with any guest who pass by. Initiating, seeking out and creating memories worth repeating with our guests of all ages. Looking for confident, outgoing, and charismatic performers.
Atmosphere/Improvisational Actors who have proficient and excellent improvisational skills. Seeking performers who will be guest facing throughout the park and engage our guests thru storytelling. Captivating and engaging our guests in experiences that leave them laughing, smiling or singing throughout the park. Expressive.
If you are interested in any of the positions, you must register in advance for an audition. Once youngster, the audition team will schedule your specific audition time after you register.
