Following it's debut at last year's EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Holiday Remix has not returned as this year's holiday festivities kick off today at EPCOT.
As expected, The Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind Holiday Remix has not returned to the EPCOT rollercoaster as the 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays kicks of today, Friday, November 24, 2023.
Last year the holiday overlay of the ride involved replacing the regular classic soundtrack with a mash-up of popular holiday hits. At the time the overlay was not well received by guests, and it appears Walt Disney World has decided to erase the holiday mic tape!
The song featured the holiday hit "Run Run Rudolph" changing up the wording to "Run Run Rocket," plus "Jingle Bells," "Deck the Halls," "Go Tell It on the Mountain," and "We Wish You A Merry Christmas."
