Fat Rosie’s Taco & Tequila Bar is turning every World Cup soccer match this summer into a full-on fiesta this June and July with drink specials and game-day promotions designed to bring fans together for game time while enjoying colorful, themed margaritas and scratch-made Mexican favorites.
Loved for its vibrant “Fluent in Fiesta” atmosphere, Fat Rosie’s in Waterford Lakes will stream the summer’s World Cup soccer matches, transforming the restaurant into energetic viewing destinations for fans throughout the tournament. Guests can enjoy refreshing cocktails, including the themed El Tricolor Margarita and El Goalie shot, shareable taco platters and surprise-and-delight moments tied to game outcomes that will make every ‘¡gol!’ that much more satisfying.
Fans cheering on their favorite clubs can take advantage of any of the following limited-time promotions available during games, including:
· Tables wearing their team’s jersey will receive free queso on game days
· For every goal scored by Team USA or Mexico, Fat Rosie’s will pour $1 shots
· Fans wearing jerseys for other teams playing can also score $1 shots when their team wins
· Whenever Team USA or Mexico play, Fat Rosie’s will offer a $25 Taco Platter special featuring 10 street tacos with assorted proteins
The restaurant will also debut its El Tricolor Margarita, inspired by the vibrant colors and celebratory energy of the tournament and only available on game days. This colorful drink blends frozen strawberry margarita base with fresh kiwi puree to achieve its resemblance to the Mexican flag and is finished with a Tajín-salt rim, fresh strawberry and lime.
In addition, Fat Rosie’s will feature Gran Centenario’s limited-edition El Goalie reposado tequila, crafted in honor of the 2026 tournament and aged in Mexican, American and Canadian oak barrels to reflect each host nation’s unique character and spirit. The elevated sipping tequila delivers rich agave flavor with smooth oak complexity and will be available in limited quantities throughout the promotion.
