What with ever so slightly smaller crowds, cooler temperatures and a wealth of special events, fall is an amazing time to visit and be in Orlando.

Fall festivities have already begun around these parts, and this year you can expect bigger and better events than ever before!

The beautiful 500-acre resort, Grande Lakes Orlando, home to The Ritz-Carlton Orlando and JW Marriott Orlando, is hosting Fall on the Farm every Saturday and Sunday in October from 10am - 3pm.

Grande Lakes Orlando’s Fall on the Farm features family-friendly offerings celebrating the season, all taking place at Whisper Creek Farm, an 18,000-square-foot farm located on-property at Grande Lakes Orlando.

Enjoy Hayride, pumpkin picking, and pumpkin carving, painting workshops with the resort’s Olympic medalist and two-time world champion culinary artist and carver, Victor Dagatan.

The list of activities goes on... arts and crafts, corn hole, maze, and family games.

Plus, purchase a taste of Grande Lakes Orlando at the farmers market with locally produced and homemade items such as honey, surplus beer, jams, BBQ sauces & rubs, plus popcorn.

Grande Lakes Orlando’s Director of Fly Fishing, Captain Mark Benson will be sharing fun facts about fishing and how to properly set up a fishing line and lure.

The Master Falconer will visit between 12:00-12:30 pm so guests will have an opportunity to see a falcon and learn about falconry school.

This year’s theme is the Pirates of the Corn Maze! Get lost in this 7-acre corn maze or the half-acre mini maze while learning about pirates throughout history. In addition, enjoy the fall festival, farm tours, pumpkin patch, giant playground and the brand-new game in the tree maze.

October 29th & 30th – Trick or Treat stations will be set up throughout the farm. Put on your family friendly costumes and join us.

Pumpkins are fresh picked, and then displayed in a shaded lot to help preserve their freshness. Pumpkins are priced by size, and most range between $3 and $13

Mount Dora Craft Fair

Held on the streets of historic downtown Mount Dora, the Mount Dora Craft Festival features more than 400 of the best exhibitors in the country ready to show and sell their fine and fun crafts at the 36th annual event.
