Dr. Phillips Center in Downtown Orlando is bringing the Halloween spirit to life with ghostly vibes and a thrilling lineup of spine-tingling shows and events this fall.


From family-friendly movie screenings with a live orchestra, to adults only horror, the arts center’s haunting lineup will be sure to give you goosebumps...


The celebration expands into the Della Phillips Lobby, where larger-than-life skeletons stand guard over the grand staircase. Keep your eyes peeled, you might feel a pair of hollowed eyes watching as you enter Steinmetz Hall or sip cocktails outside Judson’s Live.


To complete the eerie ambiance at Dr Phillips Center, moody lighting casts sinister shadows across the venue entrances

October 1 -2, 2025 - Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater

“Can a ghost follow me home?” That’s just one of the many questions you could ask Amy Bruni, paranormal researcher and renowned Spooky Queen. Bruni has spent more than a decade as a ghost hunter and is best known for her appearances on the hit shows Ghost Hunters and Kindred Spirits on the Travel Channel.


During her visit to Dr. Phillips Center, she will host a chilling tell-all event, sharing some of her favorite true-crime tales and real-life ghost stories. To get in the spirit before your ghoulish night out, tune into her podcast Haunted Road, where she guides listeners through some of the most haunted cities in the country.

October 9 - 12, 2025 - Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater

Phantasmagoria Orlando returns to Dr. Phillips Center this year with Hauntingly Whimsical Tales! This acclaimed Victorian horror troupe has built a loyal local following, captivating audiences year after year with its mesmerizing mix of storytelling, dance, puppetry, and haunting visuals.


In 2025, the troupe celebrates the 100th birthday of iconic author and artist Edward Gorey, bringing his darkly whimsical tales to life on stage. Fans can look forward to chilling favorites like the tragedy of “The Gilded Bat” and the frolicsome yet dangerous antics of “The Wuggly Ump.”

A beloved Halloween tradition, Phantasmagoria’s return promises an unforgettable night of eerie fun and gothic wonder.

October 12, 2025 - Walt Disney Theater

The Rocky Horror Picture Show returns for a special screening, featuring Barry Bostwick, the original Brad Majors, along with Columbia (Nell Campbell), Magenta (Patricia Quinn), and an incredible shadow cast.


Fans of this cult-favorite movie musical know the traditions well. Shadow actors perform the movie live in front of the screen while the audience shouts iconic phrases and tosses objects during specific scenes. The film fanatics can (and usually do) dress up for the occasion, making it the perfect Halloween night out. To fully embrace the experience, guests will receive prop bags filled with traditional items, including glow sticks to toss at the screen.


October 16, 2025 - Walt Disney Theater

Hold on tight, spider monkey—Bella and Edward are coming to the big screen in Walt Disney Theater.


In this one-of-a-kind experience, the vampire romantasy will play on a giant projector screen while the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra performs the film’s iconic soundtrack live. Guests can enjoy watching the movie as the music comes to life in the theater.


Twilight is just one of several film-in-concert productions coming to Dr. Phillips Center this season.

October 19, 2025 - Walt Disney Theater

The Rock Orchestra by Candlelight is described as "a collective of classical musicians, breathing beautiful dark energy into legendary rock and metal."


What’s more metal than that? Ethereal candlelight sets the mood as an ensemble of 14 classical musicians performs hauntingly beautiful renditions of iconic rock songs. After captivating audiences across Europe and the UK, the group brings its spellbinding 90-minute spectacle to Orlando.


Guests will hear unforgettable versions of hits by Metallica, AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, Rage Against the Machine, My Chemical Romance and more. The show perfectly combines the eerie atmosphere of the season with the striking contrast of soft classical and hard rock.

October 23 - November 2, 2025 - Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater

It is the classic story: man-eating plant meets a young man from Skid Row, plant devours everyone he loves, and then takes over the world with an army of fellow man-eating plants.

This horror-comedy rock musical is produced by Dr. Phillips Center and brought to life by an outstanding creative team. Audiences will hear beloved Alan Menken songs like “Suddenly, Seymour” and “Somewhere That’s Green,” performed by local Orlando artists.


The production will be staged in the intimate Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater, making you feel as if you are part of the thrilling, over-the-top action.

October 31, 2025 - Judson's Live

Save the date for a retro Halloween dance party straight out of the ‘80s—the decade when “Thriller” ruled the airwaves, Freddy Krueger haunted dreams and big hair required a scary amount of Aqua Net.


Get your boogie on as Beauty & the Beats, Orlando’s premiere party band, performs the totally tubular chart‑toppers, one‑hit wonders and dance anthems you love as Judson’s Live transforms into a spook-tacular setting. Think your costume is to die for? Prove it in the costume contest!


November 1, 2025 - Walt Disney Theater

It’s just a bunch of Hocus Pocus! This beloved Disney witchy classic is a nostalgic favorite for ’90s kids and is gaining new fans with the release of its sequel. Now, audiences of all ages can dive into the Halloween spirit with an immersive experience.


Just like Twilight in Concert, the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the enchanting movie score live as the film plays on screen. Dress up as your favorite character and prepare for a night filled with fun, frights, and festive frolic!


Set the mood for spooky season by familiarizing yourself with the Hocus Pocus soundtrack. It’s the perfect playlist to get excited for spooky season.
