Downtown Orlando has introduced "8-Bit Spring," a free interactive art installation in downtown Orlando that brings retro video game aesthetics to life.

Located at 30 South Orange Avenue, the vibrant display features nostalgic pixel art animations of frogs, flowers, and fruit that come alive at the press of a button - offering a playful celebration of spring in a digital world day or night!

On view 24/7 from now through June 19, "8-bit Spring" marks the sixth installation in the DTOLive series, an initiative that launched in June 2024 to deliver 850 free arts and cultural experiences downtown.

The project is presented in collaboration with United Arts of Central Florida, Creative City Project, and the Downtown Arts District, working together to transform the heart of the city into a dynamic destination for music, art, and community connection.
