Hilda Maria Bacardi, the heiress to the Bacardi fortune is selling her Mediterranean-style home at the exclusive Golden Oakes development within Walt Disney World.
The estate home is one of the most exclusive properties with Golden Oakes, as it's located within the Four Seasons Private Residences at Golden Oak in the Walt Disney World Resort.
The remarkable estate is on the market for $19 million and showcases over 9,200 square feet of living space, 7 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and standout features at every turn for the ultimate indoor-outdoor lifestyle, and just wait until you see the Disney themed rooms.
The stunning property is being sold by Hilda Maria Bacardi, the great-great-granddaughter of Facundo Bacardà Massó, who founded the Bacardi liquor company in 1862.
In 2018, Ms. Bacardi paid $6.989 million for the home which features seven bedrooms, including two primary suites, a bar and entertainment room, an elevator, multiple terraces and a pool and pool cabana.
Plus there’s outdoor showers, a three-car garage and even a golf cart garage.
In addition to the home’s features, as the home is located within the Four Seasons Private Residences, you have access to the Four Seasons Orlando amenities, as well as the Golden Oak amenities, .includinge a private clubhouse, pool, and fitness center, and of course with Golden Oakes located within Walt Disney World, you are only minutes away from all the attractions and amenities within the resort.
The house itself has a timeless Mediterranean exterior, but the inside is where things get really interesting.
Two of the bedrooms are show-stoppingly Disney themed, and they are quite simply stunning.
One bedroom is theme to Frozen, complete with life-sized characters, a wintery mural and lights that mimic snow.
The other is an underwater themed Finding Nemo bedroom, with a lofted nautical bed and seagulls that begin squawking when you walk in the door.
The most amazing room however in the home is the home theater, designed as an homage to Star Wars.
With automatic doors that open with the whooshing sound you expect from a spaceship, lightsaber background noise and a beeping R2-D2, it’s like you’re on the deck of the Millennium Falcon, it's truly out of this world!
The residence is for sale due to Ms. Bacardi downsizing, although it's believed that she will be staying in the neighborhood.
