A sleighful of new additions are coming to this year's Downtown for the Holidays at Lake Eola Park

This December, the City of Orlando is adding even more ways to celebrate the festive season at the 2026 Downtown for the Holidays.

Each December, the City of Orlando invites locals and visitors to experience the sights and sounds of the season at Downtown for the Holidays presented by AdventHealth.

Throughout the entire month of December, downtown comes alive with a stocking full of free holiday events for everyone to enjoy, and yes. we might still be in the middle of of a red hot summer, but the City of Orlando has announced several new additions to this year's Downtown for the Holidays.

New holiday additions coming to the 2026 Downtown for the Holidays includes new holiday nights, more snowfall, Max joining the Grinch, a mini market, a commemorative mug, and more! 

Downtown for the Holidays takes place throughout the month of December at Lake Eola Park, with free holiday events for all to enjoy! 

New Additions:

• Three extra holiday nights in December. 17, 21, & 22

• Max is joining the Grinch for meet-and-greets

• More snowfall

• New food and snack vendors near the Grinch's Lair and train

• Heritage Square will feature a new mini market with face painters, holiday characters, and photo ops

• A limited-edition commemorative boot mug will be available for purchase while supplies last

In addition to the new expriences, Experience the enchantment of the holiday stroll. Spread cheer by shopping locally at the Merry Market. Embrace the magic of the season at the Eola Wonderland. Encounter Santa himself at the Eola House, and more.
