Walt Disney World's nighttime holiday party, Disney Jollywood Nights is making areturn to Disney's Hollywood Studios this holiday season. It looks like Walt Disney World is bringing Disney Jollywood Nights for 2024, with Disney Live Entertainment hosting online auditions soon for seasonal dancers to perform in the after-hours event. Disney Jollywood Nights was a new, after-hours ticketed event that debuted at Disney's Hollywood Studios last year. The event ran for 10 select nights, starting November 11 - December 20, 2023. The after hours event encouraged guests to dress in holiday glam best or festive flair, while dancing the night away to merry mashups, as they indulged in divine treats and bubbling spirits. Iconic and rare characters were available for meet and greets during the new festive event, and to end the night, the party wrapped up with the return of the nighttime spectacular, “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” Despite the event drawing much criticism from many guests during the early days of the event, which led to better event management, and extra characters being added to the event, the event is set to return later this year. A Disney Casting Notice has been posted looking for seasonal dancer for Disney Jollywood Nights. No specific dates are mentioned in the post other than November - December. Hamburger Mary's search for a new Central Florida location appears to be over as the home to the popular Broadway Brunch and more, appears to have secured a new place to call home. American bar and grill chain Hamburger Mary's know for its diner classics and cocktails, served with a side of quirky entertainment, announced on May 23 that it was to close its downtown Orlando location in the historic Bumby building after 16 years. The much loved location at 110 W. Church St. closed its doors for the last time on Sunday June 2, with regular live entertainment including Mary's and Mimosas Brunch Affair, and Dining with the Divas taking to the stage for one last show before the lights were turned off at the downtown location. At the time of the announcement, Hamburger Mary's revealed that they were actively looking for a new home, and the search appears to be over with Mary's teasing the good news on Facebook, proclaiming, "The cat is out of the bag! Kissimmee, are you ready for Hamburger Marys?" While no details have been announced as to where the new location is in Kissimmee, its believed that an announcement will be made in the next several days. Known for the best drag Shows, bingo, trivias and brunches in town, and most recently its outspoken opposition to the State’s “Protection of Children Law,” Senate Bill 1438, Hamburger Mary's will be a big loss for downtown. So why did they closed? With less customers in the downtown area, Hamburger Mary's decided it was time to bid dowmtown farewell, and look to set up home elsewhere, and it appears that elsewhere is in fact Kissimmee! Leu Gardens has revealed that this summer is 'Summer Of The Fairies!' Now that school is out, families can explore Leu Gardens in search of fairies, as the popular Orlando attraction brings a whimsical summer adventure with fairies from far and wide. Summer of the Fairies features the return of the enchanting and much loved 'Fairy Doors', plus on select magical 'Fairy Nights', an after hours ticketed event will celebrate the world of the fairies, where everyone is encouraged to dress i their best fairy-inspired attire while exploring and discovering all the Fairy Doors. The upscale Ivanhoe Village food hall, The Hall on The Yard is set to re-open following its sudden closure in April. The Hall on The Yard located at Alden Road and Virginia Drive permanently closed on Thursday, April 18, 2024. with no warning to employees or customers due to the operator owing  unpaid rent to the landlord of the building, Ivanhoe Place Propco. The Hall on The Yard first opened for business on November 18, 2021, and was home to a collection of 9 food vendors, 3 bars, indoor and outdoor seating, plus various event spaces. The latest news is that according to Bungalower, City Food Hall, a food hall operator based in Destin are set to breathe new life into the shuttered food hall, with plans to open soon. City Food Hall currently has two locations, in Destin, and West Palm Beach, and in addition to opening soon in Orlando, further locations are planned to open in Gainsville and Athens. City Food Hall offer a diverse selection of 10+ local chefs, a central craft bar, and TopGolf Swing Suites, together with a busy calendar of themed events, and live entertainment. Superstar Cyndi Lauper is hitting the road for one last time, announcing a North American run that will see the 'True Colors' singer-sonwriter hit 23 major arena before she retires as a touring artist. Cyndi Lauper has announced the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour.  Produced by Live Nation, the 23-city headlining tour – Lauper’s first major run in a decade – begins on October 18 at Bell Centre in Montreal, QC, making stops across North America in her hometown of New York City at the iconic Madison Square Garden, plus Boston, Nashville, Los Angeles, Tampa and more before wrapping up in Chicago, IL at United Center on December 5. Throughout the tour, Lauper will be joined by special guests to be revealed at a later date. The stop in Tampa will see Lauper take to the stage at Amalie Arena on November 6. The announcement of her farewell tour arrives alongside LET THE CANARY SING, a feature-length documentary film that explores Lauper’s extraordinary life and career. The documentary will premiere exclusively on Paramount+in the U.S. and Canada on Tuesday, June 4. In celebration of the tour and the film, Lauper will be honored with an imprint ceremony at the prestigious TCL Chinese Theatre Hollywood tomorrow (June 4) in Los Angeles. A special private screening of the film at the TCL Chinese Theatre will follow that evening, along with a Q&A. Lauper will also be a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this Wednesday, June 5 (ABC, 11:35PM ET/10:35PM CT), to talk about her farewell tour and LET THE CANARY SING.  She was also just profiled by CBS Sunday Morning.
