- Orlando Magic's 2025-26 regular season schedule released
The Magic will start the season with a home game against Miami Heat. The National Basketball Association released its 2025-26 schedule today and announced the Orlando Magic will open the season on Wednesday, October 22 at Kia Center against Miami. Game time is 7 p.m. It will be the Magic’s eighth all-time opening-night meeting against the Miami Heat and the sixth time they will host the Heat to tip off a regular season. Last year, down in Miami, the Magic defeated their Sunshine State rivals on opening night behind 33 points from Paolo Banchero and 23 from Franz Wagner. This year’s opening-night clash will take place 2 ½ weeks after they square off in an exhibition in Puerto Rico. Single-game tickets for the 2025-26 season go on sale on Friday, August 15 at 1 p.m. and will be available online at OrlandoMagic.com/tickets , at the Kia Center box office (located on Church Street), or via Ticketmaster at Ticketmaster.com/Magic . Orlando Magic season tickets, partial plans, group and single-game Kia Center suite rental opportunities are on sale now. For additional ticket information, log on to OrlandoMagic.com or call 407-89-MAGIC. Orlando opens training camp on September 30 at the AdventHealth Training Center. The Magic’s complete schedule is available through their official website, OrlandoMagic.com , while the entire NBA schedule can be found at NBA.com . Orlando will have 14 games featured on national television – three on NBC/Peacock (November 4 @ Atlanta, November 25 @ Philadelphia and March 24 @ Cleveland), three on ESPN/ESPN App (November 12 @ New York, March 11 vs. Cleveland and April 1 vs. Atlanta), four on Peacock (December 1 vs. Chicago, January 26 @ Cleveland, February 9 vs. Milwaukee and March 16 @ Atlanta) and four on Amazon Prime (January 15 vs. Memphis in Berlin, Germany, January 18 @ Memphis in London, England, February 26 vs. Houston and March 7 @ Minnesota). Games not exclusively on a national platform will be televised and streamed on FanDuel Sports Network Florida, which is available throughout the Magic’s local TV territory. Further details about Orlando’s local television schedule will be announced at a later date. Games can also be heard on the Orlando Magic Audio Network (flagship: FM 96.9 The Game). Orlando will play six games in October (three home, three away), 14 games in November (seven home, seven away), 12 games in December (five home, seven away) not including the Emirates NBA Cup 2025 Knockout Rounds (see below), 13 games in January (seven home, including one in Berlin, six away, including one in London), 11 games in February (five home, six away), 17 games in March (10 home, seven away) and seven games in April (three home, four away). The Emirates NBA Cup 2025 will tip off on Friday, October 31 and culminate with the playing of the Semifinals (Saturday, December 13) and Championship (Tuesday, December 16) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The Emirates NBA Cup 2025 will consist of two stages: Group Play and the Knockout Rounds. In Group Play, each team will play four designated Group Play games – one game against each opponent in its group, with two games at home and two on the road – on “Cup Nights,” which will take place every Tuesday and Friday from October 31-November 28. The only NBA games played on Cup Nights will be Group Play games. Orlando’s Emirates NBA Cup 2025 Group Play games are Friday, November 7 vs. Boston, Friday, November 14 vs. Brooklyn, Tuesday, November 25 @ Philadelphia (NBC) and Friday, November 28 @ Detroit. Eight teams will advance to the Knockout Rounds: the team with the best standing in Group Play games in each of the six groups and two “wild cards” (the team from each conference with the best record in Group Play games that finished second in its group). The Knockout Rounds will consist of single-elimination games in the Quarterfinals (played in NBA team markets on Tuesday, December 9 and Wednesday, December 10) and Semifinals and Championship (played in Las Vegas on December 13 and December 16, respectively). The Knockout teams will compete for a prize pool and the Emirates NBA Cup. During the Knockout Rounds on days when Emirates NBA Cup games are not scheduled (December 11-12 and December 14-15), the 22 teams that do not qualify for the Knockout Rounds will each play two regular season games. The four teams that lose in the Quarterfinals will each play a regular season game on either December 14 or December 15 against the opponent in their same conference. Looking for events and things to do in Central Florida? Check out our Events Guide . Orlando will play a total of 17 home games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday this season. The 2025-26 Magic schedule also features 14 back-to-back contests (28 games played on consecutive nights; five away/away back-to-backs, two home/away back-to-backs, two away/home back-to-back and five home/home back-to-backs). The Magic will have two season-long four-game homestands – February 5-11 (seven days) and February 26-March 5 (eight days). Orlando will be on a season-long five-game road trip from October 27-November 4 (nine days). The Magic will get to showcase their team on the world stage, in not just one European country, but two. First, they will head to Berlin, Germany to play the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday, Jan. 15. This will be a homecoming of sorts for the Wagner brothers, who were born and raised in Berlin. It will be the first time ever a regular season NBA game will be held in Germany. From there, both the Magic and Grizzlies will travel to London, England for a rematch on Sunday, Jan. 18. This will be the second time the Magic will be in London. They were there for two preseason games in 1993 against the Hawks and for a regular season game in 2016 against the Raptors. It will be the NBA’s 10 th all-time regular season game in London. Every team hopes to be well-represented at NBA All-Star Weekend. It’s a good sign when that is the case. If that applies to the Magic this year, we could see players do quite a bit of cross-country traveling. Coming out of All-Star festivities, which will take place in Los Angeles this season, the Magic will begin a four-game West Coast trip on Thursday, Feb. 19 in Sacramento. The other stops on that journey include Phoenix and L.A., where they will play both the Clippers and Lakers. Orlando’s home regular season finale will be Wednesday, April 8 vs. Minnesota (7 p.m. start). The Magic close the 2025-26 regular season on Sunday, April 12 @ Boston (6 p.m.). The end of the last two regular seasons were completely different for the Magic. In 2024, they hosted the Bucks in a game that determined their playoff fate. They went on to win that game, securing a postseason berth. In 2025, already locked into their playoff spot, the Magic went on the road for what were basically exhibition games in Indianapolis and Atlanta. We’ll see how things play out this year, when the Magic wrap up their regular season on the road again – with the games in Chicago and Boston. - Tampa's AMALIE Arena has a new sponsor and name - introducing Benchmark International Arena
The home of Tampa Bay Lightning now named Benchmark International Arena. The Tampa bay Lightning will now play home games at Benchmark International Arena, no it's not a new arena, but a new name for the venue formally know as AMALIE Arena. The change is thanks to a multi-year naming rights partnership between the owners of the Tampa Bay Lightning, Vinik Sports Group, and Benchmark International, a company that specializes in mergers and acquisitions. As part of the partnership, the arena will undergo a complete rebranding that includes new exterior and interior signage, digital integrations and the official renaming of its premium club level to the Benchmark International Club Level, featuring The Mark as its signature all-inclusive experience. The agreement also includes joint community initiatives with over $3,000,000 in non-profit financial contributions that align with both organizations’ desire to make a meaningful impact in Tampa Bay. “We’re proud to welcome Benchmark International as the new naming rights partner of our venue,” said Vinik Sports Group CEO Steve Griggs. “This partnership reflects a shared commitment to excellence, service and community impact. As we transition to this new era, we are grateful for our long-time naming rights partner, AMALIE Oil, who will continue to be a corporate partner of our organization.” “This is a proud moment for Benchmark International, and another first in our market space,” said Benchmark International's Chairman and Co-Founder, Steven Keane. “We are honored to partner with Vinik Sports Group and the Tampa Bay Lightning, organizations that, like us, are committed to delivering excellence and giving back to the community. Benchmark International Arena will continue to be a destination where unforgettable moments and community connection come together under one roof.” Since opening in 1996, the arena has hosted millions of fans, marquee events and celebrated three Stanley Cup Championships. The rebrand to Benchmark International Arena will roll out in phases, with new signage and activations debuting ahead of the 2025-26 Lightning season, presented by AdventHealth. To celebrate the naming transition, VSG and Benchmark International will host a series of free community events in mid-October. Details will be announced in the coming weeks. Additional sponsorship announcements, including new food and beverage experiences in collaboration with Oak View Group, will be unveiled in the lead-up to the 2025-26 Lightning season, presented by AdventHealth, at Benchmark International Arena. - Orlando Magic 2025 Preseason Schedule Released - Tipping Off against Miami Heat in San Juan
Orlando Magic continue to expand presence in Puerto Rico by tipping off preseason in San Juan. The Orlando Magic will open the 2025 preseason in San Juan, Puerto Rico to play Miami on Saturday, October 4. “We are incredibly excited to (play in Puerto Rico),” said Magic Managing Director Ryan DeVos during a joint press conference with the Heat. “We look at Puerto Rico as a continuation of our market. We've got a fantastic Puerto Rican (fan)base in Central Florida and we’re really excited to be part of (this matchup).” Orlando is home to one of the largest Puerto Rican populations in the country, and as a result, the Magic have always had a special relationship to Puerto Rico. That connection reached new heights in 2006 when the franchise traded for Carlos Arroyo, who was not only born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, but was also a standout member of the Puerto Rican national team. Fans with Puerto Rican ties throughout the Central Florida region flocked to the then Amway Arena, further strengthening their bond and building lasting memories with the team. “He was a very exciting player,” said Magic Community Ambassador Nick Anderson at the presser. “He was flashy and could do a little bit of everything. He let you know that he had arrived. That was his mentality. We’re looking forward to meeting those Magic fans (that he helped create) down in Puerto Rico.” The team also announced the remainder of their preseason slate on Tuesday. Orlando will visit Philadelphia on Saturday, October 10 at 7 pm. After playing at Philadelphia, Orlando will host Miami at Kia Center on Sunday, October 12 (6 pm start), then finish the preseason schedule at home on Thursday, October 16 vs. New Orleans at 7 pm. 2025 ORLANDO MAGIC PRESEASON GAME SCHEDULE HOME GAMES AT KIA CENTER IN ALL CAPS Oct. 4 @ Miami (San Juan, Puerto Rico) 8 pm Oct. 10 @ Philadelphia 7 pm Oct. 12 MIAMI 6 pm Oct. 16 NEW ORLEANS 7 pm Single-game tickets for the 2025 preseason are on sale now.
