The City of Kissimmee's popular Movie in the Park returns this weekend with KUA once again presenting the popular community event at Kissimmee Lakefront Park. Kissimmee Utility Authority, in partnership with the City of Kissimmee, will once again host a free Movie in the Park event on Friday, December 5, 2025 , at the Veterans Lawn of Kissimmee Lakefront Park. Kick off the holiday season with a magical night at Movie in the Park, featuring a festive screening of Home Alone 2, including family-friendly fun, with free crafts, inflatables, a photo booth with Santa, and holiday-themed crafts. The cruisers will dressed up to accept toy donation from the public and other cruisers, plus enjoy photos with Santa, and a holiday golf cart parade on the Saturday.   Old Town, an iconic walking district of shops, food, entertainment and events for 40 years, will hold its 35th Annual Cruiser Toy Drive this year on Friday, Dec. 5 from 3 to 8 pm and Saturday, Dec. 6, from 1 to 8 pm for both cruisers and the public to donate unwrapped toys.  All of the collected toys will be given to the Osceola Council on Aging for local distribution to children and young adults.   On Dec. 6 at 7 pm, just prior to the Saturday Nite Classic Car Cruise at 8:30 pm, the 18 th Annual Holiday Golf Cart Parade will stroll through the streets of Old Town with the residents of nearby Sherwood Forrest RV Resort on their holiday-adorned golf carts.   “Our cruisers so excited about their Toy Drive,” explains Thearon Scurlock, Vice President and General Manager of the Old Town Entertainment District.  “Hundreds of them show up for the Car Show and Classic Car Cruise both days and come early to drop off their toys.  They get everyone into the spirit of giving.”   During both Cruise Toy Drive days, Santa will be visiting from 5 to 8 pm, with an exclusive photo opportunity for just $10.  Check out our 2025 Guide to all magical fun this Holiday Season in Orlando . Celebrate the birth of the Savior in a Live Nativity Celebration with live animals, live actors, and live music. Join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 3850 Avalon Road., Winter Garden as they transform the church into Bethlehem to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with a live nativity. The Live Nativity and Christmas Celebration will feature live acting, live music, and live animals. Thre free event celebrating the birth of Jesus will take place on Friday, December 5, and Saturday, December 6, with FREE 15-minute outdoor presentations each hour Friday and Saturday. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will have pastors from several different local Christian churches narrating the Nativity story with live animals, live actors, with school choirs and FFA groups from Hamlin Middle School, Horizon High School, and West Orange High School. The church will also be holding a food drive where people will "pay taxes" (canned food items) as they enter Bethlehem to benefit the Hope Center and Well of Hope.
