Drawn to Life By Cirque du Soleil & Disney

Drawn to Life By Cirque du Soleil & Disney has introduced exciting new additions to the already spectacular show.

"Icarian Games" is a brand new act in the show that will take place in Disney’s animated forests – and the mysterious creatures that inhabit them – featuring two Ethiopian artists performing acrobatic skills in which one lies on their back and uses their legs and feet to toss the other performer in the air.

The "Dream of Colours" act has been re-imagined to include Aerial Hoop artists taking to the air, performing breathtaking movements, a tribute to the ink and paint animation artists, featuring dramatic colors “painted” by human trapeze artists on a suspended wheel.

Another change to the show is a “flying” guitarist who is joining the Rhythmic Gymnastics act, soaring above the acrobats as they flip through the air.

In addition to introducing new performers, and an entirely new act, new musical compositions have been added to the show that will set a magnificent tone for the acts.

April's limited edition goodies at Gideon’s Bakehouse has seen the return of Mourning Joe!

Available though the end of April, the spectacular Coffee Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookie is your April Limited Edition flavor! This handmade, almost 1/2 pound Vanilla based Cookie is filled and topped with freshly ground espresso beans and complimented with Toffee (for a sweet crunch), Dark Chocolates (for richness), and a sprinkling of sea salt harvested from Mourning Joe's tears.

Disney Springs hosts free, live entertainment every day of the week — including many opportunities for you to become part of the show. Keep an eye out for special events at the district’s Waterview Park, Sunshine Highline, Springs Overlook and Riverboat Square areas, with singing, DJ sets, performance art and more making appearances.

Many of Disney Springs’ eateries also offer complimentary live entertainment for guests. Standouts include traditional Irish singing at Raglan Road ™Irish Pub and Restaurant, burlesque at The Edison and more.

Check out all the new offering in the spring menu that you can taste for yourself right now at The Edison in Disney Springs.

The Prodigious Pretzel at The Edison ($15.00) – A large and sharable top knot pretzel topped with coarse sea salt and served with Edison beer cheese sauce and whole grain dijon mustard.

Prohibition Chili ($15.00) – This plant-based dish features impossible meat, pinto beans, black beans, vegan cheddar cheese, onions, and red bell peppers.

Prohibition Chili Burger ($25.00) – This plant-based “burger” consists of vegan chili, grilled portabello, vegan swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickle on a kaiser bun. served with fries.

Flat Iron Steak ($38.00) – Garlie-herb salt-rubbed 8oz Certified Angus beef, served with caramelized onions and blistered cherry tomatoes, served with truffle potato wedges.

High-Voltage Chicken Sandwich ($24.00) – Made with fried chicken breast, gochujang, jalapeno lime crema, and smoked bacon on a kaiser bun, served with fries, it is the perfect recharge after a long day in Walt Disney World.
