One of the best spooky season scare experiences in Central Florida is a horrifying journey into A Petrified Forest, an independent outdoor scare trail n in Altamonte Springs.

A Petrified Forrest Scream Park is legendary around these parts, and this year's event kicks off on October 2nd and runs select nights through until October 31st, 2026

The attraction is a home grown community haunt, offering three all-new intensely horrifying scare trails set in a genuinely spooky forest location covering around 2 acres. The trails are long, with uniquely themed rooms and awesome scares around every turn.

Also new this year is an escape ride, a never before seen immersive horror experience together with laser tag! Plus live DJs, food trucks, art vendors anc more

The annual Halloween event continues to grow every year, and now offers a whole night out with live DJs, great music, food trucks, local art vendors, laser tag, backstage tours, and so much more.

THE CRAVING

Ever since the dawn of time, there has been a hunger. Usually satiated by animals and vegetation, but in the dark and hidden corners, it can be quenched by fellow man. From cavemen to the near future, feast your eyes on cannibalism in all its bloody iterations. Can you make your way through the ages of anthropophagy without being the next meal, or will you come out with your own new craving?

LAST RESPONDERS

A massive comet has struck City Hall, with it comes a tone that makes people dangerous and deadly. It’s crippling local government and triggering a citywide disaster. The collapse of society is imminent as the people trying to save it—dispatchers, police officers, firefighters, utility workers, medical staff, and ordinary citizens, struggle to keep order. Every system designed to protect the public begins to fail, as the pandemonium sets in, see how you respond.

But wait, this isn’t how you remember it, these toons aren’t being cute and cuddly! You get pulled into the TV and into their world of twisted cellulose nightmares. Turned from zany to vicious, your favorite characters are now on a killing spree, you are the target, and your innocent childhood memories of them are being drawn closer to death.

Step behind the curtain for a backstage look at A Petrified Forest’s prop history. But beware.. the storage shadows harbor a sinister secret. The tour is abruptly derailed when the malevolent entities inhabiting the prop vaults claim their territory. Traversing the dark woods while haunted by the true masters of the forest, your life hangs in the balance of your decisions. 

Only by trusting a mysterious soul can you outmaneuver the horrors along your journey. Every choice you make will either appease these spirits within, or unleash their anger upon your group. Do you feel ready to contribute to the keeper’s offering and test your fate? 

PSYCHOSISIMMERSIVE HORROR EXPERIENCE (Touch Haunt)

Reality is blurred and paranoia takes hold as Therapist Dr. Draft loads you into an enclosed box and sends you down an 85 foot track into the paralyzing world of Psychosis. There, you will be relentlessly hunted and tormented in total darkness by each of the terrifying traumas that made you. Abandon control. Trust the process. This is for your own good.
