Salt & Straw, the much anticipated scoop shop that is opening on Wednesday, April 20 at Disney Springs has been having a soft opening for cast member today, and we were invited along too!
Firstly let us say, wow the ice cream is amazing, and yes, this is gonna be a regular spot for the GGO Crew now!!
The Portland based family-run ice cream company is known for its innovative, taste-provoking flavors that take fans on a never-ending flavor adventure, and we can confirm this is all very true.
You can sample as many flavors as you want, the cast members are so informative and know everything you need to know about every wonderfully amazing flavor on the menu.
What these guys don’t know about ice cream is is not worth knowing!
The store is cosy, bright and welcoming, with a long counter with plenty of cast members helping eager customers ready for an ice cream adventure.
When you first walk in the smell of freshly made waffle cones is heavenly.
The menu is large and easy to understand with all the flavors on the board.
You can choose a tub or a waffle cone, and those waffle cones are so fresh, and taste amazing!
Oh and the ice cream? OMG it tastes wonderful, so fresh, so tasty and the flavors explode in your mouth, yes, this is non stop flavor adventure!
The scoop shop also has take home freezer tubs for sale, as well as a selection of merchandise.

This will be the first Central Florida location for Salt & Straw, and we can confidently say it’s gonna be very popular, see ya'll there on the 20th!
