This Thursday, April 11 at 8 pm, gather the family and head to beautiful Central Park in Winter Park for the return of the free Popcorn Flicks In The Park.

The Popcorn Flicks in the Park series is usually held on the second Thursday of each month, and is presented by The City Of Winter Park and the Enzian Theater, featuring classic films for the whole family.

April's movie is the classic 1939 movie, Wizard Of Oz.

When a tornado rips through Kansas, Dorothy (Judy Garland) and her dog, Toto, are whisked away in their house to the magical land of Oz. They follow the Yellow Brick Road toward the Emerald City to meet the Wizard, and en route they meet a Scarecrow (Ray Bolger) that needs a brain, a Tin Man (Jack Haley) missing a heart, and a Cowardly Lion (Bert Lahr) who wants courage. The wizard asks the group to bring him the broom of the Wicked Witch of the West (Margaret Hamilton) to earn his help.

There really is something special about watching a movie outdoors under the stars. All you need to do is bring a blanket, a picnic or some snacks.
