Walter’s Tavern and Great Southern Box Co. to host Freestyle Motocross Block Party on Father’s Day Weekend

Get ready for a day of freestyle motocross stunt shows, BMX competitions, live music, outdoor bars, kids activities and more on June 20.

Bikes will fly and adrenaline will take over Orlando this Father’s Day Weekend as Walter’s Tavern and Great Southern Box Co. debut the inaugural Freestyle Motocross Block Party — a full day of freestyle motocross stunts, BMX competitions, live entertainment, food, drinks and family-friendly activities on Saturday, June 20.

The free event will take place from noon to 10 p.m., transforming the property into an action-packed outdoor festival complete with live DJs and music, outdoor bars, local vendors, fair-style food and drinks and a kid zone featuring inflatables and games.

Hosted by Walter’s Tavern and The Great Southern Box Co. — Orlando’s Packing District food hall and entertainment destination now operated by Pine Street Hospitality — the Freestyle Motocross Block Party marks one of the first large-scale community events under the venue’s new management. The event reflects the group’s growing focus on live entertainment, nightlife and family-driven programming in the Packing District.

“We wanted to create something Orlando hasn’t really seen before — a high-energy block party that combines action sports, live entertainment, food, drinks and family fun all in one place,” said Matty Bullitt, partner at Pine Street Hospitality. “Father’s Day Weekend felt like the perfect opportunity to bring everyone together for an unforgettable event.”

For guests looking to upgrade their experience, limited VIP tickets are currently available for an early bird rate of $45 and will increase to $55 closer to the event. VIP admission includes an event T-shirt, commemorative lanyard with four drink tickets, access to an air-conditioned VIP lounge, private VIP bar and restrooms and a signed event poster. Event T-shirts will also be available separately for $25.
