Walt Disney World updates Late Arrival Policy for Virtual Queue System - Don't miss your Time Slot!

If you check out social media, it seems that everyone has an opinion on Walt Disney World's late policy for the Virtual Queue system for the resorts newest attraction TRON Lightcycle Run.

Many guests have been arguing over how late is acceptable to be for your time slot, if at all, this appears to be the case either for guests that are given the earliest time slots in the morning, and they just can't get to the ride in time, or for those that get a daytime time slot, yet want to experience the ride after dark, so are deliberately showing up late to their Virtual Queue to ride at night.

This is perhaps becoming a problem for operations at the ride, as Walt Disney World have now updated the Virtual Queue late arrival policy on its Virtual Queue webpage.

The policy now states that “late arrivals may not be accommodated”.

So with late arrivals being accommodated by Cast Members at their discretion, it's best to make your time slot, just in case you get turned away
