Walt Disney World have shared a first look at the new Cast Member costumes for the new Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana” and The Seas with Nemo & Friends in World Nature at EPCOT.
You better “sea” it to be-“sleeve” it: new costumes are coming for EPCOT cast members at The Seas with Nemo & Friends AND Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana!
As Walt Disney World continues its voyage to design cast costumes to be more comfortable, breathable and environmentally friendly than ever before, these new costumes will also feature a splashy detail on the sleeve.
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana cast will wear their sleeves rolled to expose a wavy design, making it easy to sail between aquatic, conservation-focused adventures in World Nature!
Select Cast Member previews for the new Journey of Water Inspired by Moana interactive walkthrough experience are now underway, and will continue through August 19, with General Cast Member previews expected to begin soon after.
Journey of Water Inspired by Moana is expected to open this fall at EPCOT in Walt Disney World, although with cast member previews underway, we could see an earlier opening date than expected!
Walt Disney World first announced back in 2019 that the first ever attraction anywhere in the world based on the Walt Disney Studios hit film Moana would be coming to EPCOT here in Orlando.
This new addition to the park will be a walkthrough attraction allowing guests to interact with magical, living water in a beautiful and inspiring setting that includes fountains, waterfalls, and more.
Of course, characters and more from the Moana film will feature heavily in the attraction, with Te Fiti being a part of the future attraction, standing at 16 feet tall, containing over 180 feet of vines.
