Test your skills and have fun meeting others in the gaming community while you develop a game over the weekend!

Want to make a video game? The Orlando Game Jam and Gaming Expo is the perfect chance to try it out!

What's a "game jam?" A game jam is your opportunity to take a game from concept to playable prototype in a short period of time.

Unleash your creativity and join The Melrose Center, 101 E. Central Blvd., Orlando on Thursday, February 19, from 4 -10 pm., for an exciting information session where you’ll discover the secret theme for the weekend and special challenges, here you will form a team of up to six members, and plan how to create a video game from scratch over the weekend.

Over the course of the weekend you will create your new game, then on Sunday, February 22, from 1 to 4:45 pm, you’ll have a chance to showcase your game at the Orlando Gaming EXPO. and possibly win cash prizes.

The Orlando Gaming Expo takes place at The Melrose Center on the Sunday, February 22, 1 - 5:30 pm, and if your not taking part in the Orlando Game Jam, you can stop by to play and vote on games made over the weekend during the Orlando Game Jam.
