PHANTASMAGORIA XVI "Hauntingly Whimsical Tales" Orlando

Critically-acclaimed Victorian horror troupe Phantasmagoria takes to the stage at Dr Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Evocative Storytelling, Phantastical Dance, Puppetry, Projections, Original Music and MORE will bring to life the humorous, mischievous, mysterious, tragic, ironic, and hauntingly delightful visions of Edward Gorey’s distinctive “eerie yet whimsical worlds”* that have charmed readers for decades since they were first published. Phantasmagoria and its audiences will relish in the works of this prolific visionary!

Join the Society for Historic Casselberry’s 4th Annual A Night of the Mystic Arts at Lake Concord Park in Casselberry. The event will be hosted in conjunction with the City of Casselberry’s Friday Food Truck event from 5-9 pm. Enjoy music and a collection of savory food trucks just steps away.

70+ vendors will be selling their goods and services in the night market. Types of vendors include oddities & curiosities, art, photography, jewelry, crystals, tarot, books related to ghosts, spiritualism, mysticism, New Age arts, and the unexplained.


Winter Park Autumn Art Festival

October 11 - 12

The Winter Park Autumn Art Festival is the only juried fine arts festival exclusively featuring Florida artists. Held the second weekend in October in Central Park along Park Avenue in Downtown Winter Park, the festival presents original artwork in a wide range of mediums, live music on the Central Park stage, a children's art workshop, a beer garden and food vendors. Admission is free.

Join 4Roots Farm for the 3rd Annual Harvest Festival, taking place on October 11, 2025, from 9 am - 2 pm. This community-centered celebration is a highlight of the season, bringing together families, students, educators, and local residents to enjoy a day filled with fun, food, and connection. The Harvest Festival features: Live Music, Local Food Vendors, Farmers Market featuring Fresh Produce & Local Artisanal Goods,Pumpkin Patch, Fresh Cut Sunflowers by the Stem,Photo Op, Costume Contests for Kids, Pets, and Groups, Kid's Zone featuring Bounce House, Scavenger Hunt, and Face Painting.


Rock On Lake Concord

Remember the 80’s? If you do, come dressed to impress and join us for the retro event of the year, Rock on Lake Concord featuring one of the most popular high energy retro bands in Central Florida, The M80s, headlining this year’s Rock on Lake Concord, Saturday, Oct. 11, from 6 to 9 p.m. The band, which has regular gigs at Walt Disney World, will perform some the rockin’ hits of the 1980s from Duran Duran to Devo to A-Ha. The concert is the 85th anniversary of the City of Casselberry and will have themed activities to honor the city and the 80s. The band, which has been together since 2016, consists of Kurt Frohlich (LA Guns, Goo Goo Dolls and Marky Ramone); Paul Smith (7 Mary 3, Blue Man Group and Sheers Disney); James Woodrich (Blue Man Group and Sheers Disney); and Matt Bloodwell (Blue Man Group and Sheers Disney).

RockPit Brewing is hosting Alt-Rockpitoberfest—a night where Oktoberfest traditions meet Halloween vibes. Expect an evening filled with 90s and 2000s alternative rock from Alt-X, the perfect soundtrack for fall beer and costume season. The atmosphere blends the warmth of Oktoberfest with just enough spooky to remind you Halloween’s around the corner. The’ll be pouring freshly released beers made for the season, mixing new fall and Halloween-themed cocktails, and serving German favorites from Schnitz and Giggles Food Truck. Whether you’re here for the music, the beer, the food, or all three, you’ll find an evening that’s part Oktoberfest, part Halloween.


Trick or Treat Safe Zone

Calling all ghosts and ghouls: it’s time for our annual Trick or Treat Safe Zone! Enjoy trick or treating throughout the History Center and the Orlando Public Library along with a scavenger hunt, creepy crafts, candy, games, and more! Costumes are encouraged but not required. Candy bags will be provided!


Mennello Museum Free Family Fund Day

October 12

On the 2nd Sunday of each month – join the Mennello Museum for free admission all day, featuring hourly tours, and a fine art project! Help create a giant quilt and share your thoughts on food, access to food, and our future! Be part of the City of Orlando's Art Pollination series, with support from Bloomberg Philanthropies Public Art Challenge, and share your voice!

Join the original “Brad Majors” (Barry Bostwick), “Columbia” (Nell Campbell) and “Magenta” (Patricia Quinn) at Dr Phillips Center for a special 50th anniversary celebration of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
