The 5th Annual Great Orchestra Series welcomes The Cleveland Orchestra, the Munich Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra to Steinmetz Hall.

The world’s greatest orchestras return to Orlando as Dr. Phillips Center announces today the 5th Annual Great Orchestra Series supported by Experience Kissimmee, bringing internationally renowned ensembles and timeless masterworks to the acoustically acclaimed Steinmetz Hall for the 2026/27 season.
This milestone season welcomes three of the world’s most celebrated orchestras — The Cleveland Orchestra, Munich Philharmonic and London Symphony Orchestra — performing some of classical music’s most recognizable and emotionally powerful works. The season pairs the artistic excellence longtime classical fans expect and unique pieces that will resonate with a broad audience.
The 26/27 season also marks the fifth anniversary of the series in Steinmetz Hall, the award-winning venue that has become a cultural centerpiece and home to the Great Orchestra Series since its inception.
Audiences will experience the iconic opening notes of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 performed by The Cleveland Orchestra, the sweeping romance of Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4 with the Munich Philharmonic and the triumphant grandeur of Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5 brought to life by the London Symphony Orchestra.
Discover the latest theater and performing arts news from Orlando. Discover an endless choice of entertainment on the stage each day, with an impressive choice of venues, including Dr Phillips Center, The Ren, Orlando Family Stage, Winter Park Playhouse, Theater West End, and more.
New this season, subscribers can further enrich their experience with two add-on performances from internationally acclaimed artists Renée Fleming and Yuja Wang. Widely regarded as one of the most celebrated sopranos of our time, Fleming brings her signature artistry and emotional depth to Steinmetz Hall for a special evening of music on February 7, 2027. Then on March 19, 2027, powerhouse pianist Yuja Wang will make her premiere solo performance at Dr. Phillips Center.
Returning this season are Concert Comments, the popular pre-show Q&A conversations featuring key members of the orchestra, offering audiences deeper insight into the music and performances. Concert Comments are now open to everyone attending the performance, including both subscribers and single-ticket purchasers.
“This fifth season is a celebration not only of extraordinary music-making, but of the community that has embraced this series from the very beginning,” said Foster Cronin, vice president of programming and education at Dr. Phillips Center. “Over the past five years, audiences in Central Florida have shown passion for classical music and a genuine appreciation for experiencing the world’s finest orchestras right here in Steinmetz Hall. As we celebrate this milestone anniversary together, we’re excited to continue creating opportunities for our community to connect through performances that inspire.”
“Performing in Steinmetz Hall has become a meaningful part of our connection with audiences in Orlando,” said Ilya Gidalevich, senior vice president of artistic planning with The Cleveland Orchestra. “There is a remarkable energy in the room and a deep enthusiasm from the community that makes these performances truly special. We’re honored to return for this milestone season and share some of the greatest music ever written.”
