August 26
Grab a drink, mingle, and discuss the art in the gallery at the Art & History Museums! Enjoy free admission and a cash bar after-hours. Become a part of the community that gathers for drinks and conversation in the gallery after-hours from 5.30 pm - 8 pm on the last Wednesday of every month. Enjoy free admission to the current exhibition of the Maitland Art Center Gallery. Then grab a drink and watch the sunset over the iconic lily pond in our Main Gardens.

August 27 - November 21
Get ready to sip and stroll through the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival at Walt Disney World, where mouthwatering global marketplaces meet live performances, activities, and more. The fun and flavor-filled celebration of worldly cuisines kics off this week, running Aug. 27 - Nov. 21. From Global Marketplaces to the fan-favorite Eat to the Beat concert series and more, the festival offers endless opportunities to celebrate flavors and cultures from around the globe. This flavorful festival is included with your valid EPCOT admission.

August 27 - 30
Your Lei'd Back Luau Weekend is here, August 27–30! Start your weekend with Boxi Park Run Club on Thursday, then join the party on Friday with the Lei'd Back Luau Party, featuring hula dancers, thrilling fire knife performances, and live island music. Keep the fun going all weekend with live music and more on Saturday, then bring the family out for Family Funday on Sunday.

The City of Winter Park and the Enzian Theater presents the Popcorn Flicks in the Park series, featuring classic films for the whole family in Central Park, Winter Park. They are FREE and open to the public! Bring a blanket, a picnic or snacks, and some family and friendss! Popcorn Flicks on August 27 is the action packed Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.

August 28 - November 1, Select Nights
Halloween Horror Nights returns to Universal Studios Florida for its 35th anniversary this weekend! Kicking off Aug. 28, and taking place on select nights through Nov. 1, celebrating a legacy of horror and unleashing terrifying, immersive experiences that continue to redefine Halloween entertainment. This year's theme for HHN is the “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares,” transforming Universal Studios Florida into a decrepit, fear‑fueled carnival featuring a sinister new slate of haunted houses, scare zones and outrageous entertainment inspired by elements from Halloween Horror Nights’ history plus some of the biggest names in horror. And the ringmasters of this year’s event will be none other than Jack the Clown – arguably the most notorious Halloween Horror Nights icon in history – and his legendary rival, Dr. Oddfellow. Halloween Horror Nights 35 will mark the first time that these nemeses join forces to wreak havoc amongst guests…after all – a fear divided is a fear diluted…

August 28 - 30
The Orlando Boat Show features Central Florida’s top boat dealers and more than 600 boats from 90 boat lines, with the popular show returning to the Orange County Convention Center’s West Concourse , August 28 - 30. From family-friendly pontoons and sport boats to fishing favorites and luxury cruisers, the show brings one of the region’s largest boating lifestyle events under one roof, complete with exclusive show pricing and incentives.

Metamorphosis Music and Arts Project comes to the Orlando Amphitheater at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. The 2026 lineup consists of 33 artists, including headliners, Illenium and Ganja White Night.

Spend the evening at Central Florida Zoo recognizing and honoring the traditions, stories, and cultures of Native American & Alaska Native communities. This meaningful after-hours Sunset at the Zoo event offers opportunities to learn, reflect, and engage while enjoying the beauty of the Zoo at dusk. SeaWorld Orlando’s Halloween Spooktacular is back from this weekend with fun surprises, candy, costumes and more! Kids love trick-or-treating, and during this daytime event they can explore the decorated trail and meet colorful characters throughout the theme park. This year be sure to check out all the immersive family Spooktacular Festivities and plan your visit this fall. SeaWorld Spooktacular runs on select dates starting August 29- November 1, 2026 and is included with park admission.
