April 13

April 14 - 19
SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo is the state's largest annual convention of any kind, and each year over 200,000 visitors flock to Lakeland Linder International Airport. The event features hundreds of aircraft showcased in all shapes and sizes. Over 500 exhibitors have an incredible lineup of products and services. SUN ‘n FUN also has STEM and Career Fair activities, plus fun for the kids, and the world-famous daily and night airshows that feature breathtaking displays from dozens of military and civilian performers.

April 14 - 19
A new musical about growing up and growing old (in no particular order), Kimberly Akimbo is the winner of five Tony Awards including Best Musical. It features Tony Award-winning book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire (Shrek), a Tony Award-winning score by Jeanine Tesori (Fun Home), choreography by Danny Mefford (Dear Evan Hansen) and direction by Tony-nominated director Jessica Stone (Water for Elephants). April 15
Join us for Kaleidoscope 360° and Luminary Market, a free, family-friendly outdoor movie night and market at Luminary Green Park in Creative Village for the cult classic The Goonies! Bring a blanket or chair and settle in under the stars for this movie night, seating is first come, first served. Enjoy bites from rotating food trucks that will be providing the tastiest movie bites all night, or until they sell out!

April 16
Access for All at OMA is a monthly free day dedicated to the community. On the third Thursday of each month, we’ll extend our hours from 10 am to 8 pm, offering free admission to all visitors. Each event will feature live performances, educational experiences, and more! Sketching materials will be available to visitors between 5 pm and 7 pm, and a docent-led highlights tour will be held at 7 pm.

April 16
Celebrate botanical beauty during Floral Day in the Gardens! On this special day, guests are invited to wear their favorite floral attire and enjoy $2 off Garden admission as a way to join in the fun. Whether it's your favorite bold, tropical prints or elegant flower details, floral fashion of all kinds is welcome. Floral Day is all about expressing your personal style while celebrating the natural beauty that surrounds us. Stroll our 50-acres, discover the many plant collections, and enjoy the day with your friends and family.

April 17
Flash back to the 80's with a night of music, hands-on crafts and non-stop fun in a creative kid -free atmosphere. This special event ticket includes: Craft workshop to create a trinket tray – presented by AR Workshops. Access to explore over 20+ hands – on attractions. Live music with a DJ spinning 80’s hits.

April 17
Step back into the 1990s at the History Center for a totally rad evening where history meets pop culture in Orange County’s historic courtroom. Watch Central Florida history come to life through dramatic court cases where you can cast a vote as a member of the jury, or even take on the starring role of the judge. Between sessions, explore the museum while enjoying throwback games, ’90s themed drinks, photo ops, and nostalgic activities throughout the galleries.

April 18
The 16th annual Earth Fest – the county’s largest environmentally friendly festival – is on Saturday, April 18, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lake Concord Park in Casselberry. The day begins with EarthFest with free tree and plant giveaways, butterfly releases and gardening workshops hosted by the City of Casselberry and Casselberry’s Friends of the Park. The mission of the day is to bring awareness about protecting our environment, creating clean energy and reducing our carbon footprint. As part of this important mission, numerous fun activities will expand your mind through eco-friendly sights and sounds. The areas that will educate, encourage and empower citizens to create a sustainable community include the Green Vendor Area, Entertainment Area, Food area and a Kids Zone. The event also celebrates Arbor Day, which is the last Friday in April each year. Admission to Earth Fest 2026 is free, and the event is open to the public.

April 18
Families are invited to celebrate our “home sweet home” at A&H’s FREE Earth Day Family Day PLUS Printed Tote Bag Family Art Workshop where children can play with colors and patterns while using paint to “print” their own tote bags with recycled objects! We’ll have other Earth Day inspired craft stations too, plus coloring and still life tables! Families can also explore our campus, originally built as an artist colony almost 100 years ago, with an Earth Day themed scavenger hunt. There will be other surprises too – like face painting and complimentary admission to three museums!
