Purchase your ticket, check in, and spend the afternoon making your way through downtown while sampling more than 20 different ice creams along the route.
The Fall Flavor Lineup
Two Mount Dora favorites will be serving up the majority of this fall’s flavors:
Scoops on 5th is bringing Banana Crunch Toffee, Biscoff, Black Cherry, Bourbon Butter Pecan, Chocolate, Coffee, Cookie Monster, Cookies N Cream, Cotton Candy Cloud, Mint Chip, No Sugar Added Turtle Sundae, Pistachio, Reese’s Monster Cookie, Salted Caramel, Salted Oreo and Strawberry.
Waffles & Cream is bringing Churro, Espresso Bean Chip, Sea Salt Caramel Truffle, Cookie Monster, Piña Colada and Moose Tracks — plus its signature Dole Pineapple Soft Serve at its Mount Dora Marketplace storefront.
And Mystic Ice Cream is getting into the fall spirit with Maple Bacon Bourbon (contains alcohol) and Pumpkin Spice Pie, plus dairy-free Peach, Raspberry and Mint Oreo available at its Alexander Street storefront.
With flavors spread throughout downtown, you can create your own route, discover new businesses and eat a lot of ice cream along the way.
The Pup Walk Returns
Bring the dog — there are treats for them, too. The Mount Dora Pup Walk returns alongside the Ice Cream Stroll, with Earl’s Bakehouse and Piglet’s Pantry Dog Bakery making sure four-legged guests get in on the fun.
The two local pet bakeries will provide treats for participating pups along the route, so your dog can snack their way through downtown right alongside you. It’s an afternoon built for the whole family — including the furry members.
NEW: PopUp Play Makes Its Mount Dora Debut
Ice cream won’t be the only thing to try downtown. PopUp Play Company will make its official Mount Dora debut during the stroll with its mobile golf simulator, giving guests a chance to step up, take a swing and experience the new local entertainment concept firsthand.
PopUp Play brings interactive golf experiences including closest-to-the-pin challenges, competitions and leaderboards directly to parties, weddings, corporate events, fundraisers and community events.
27 Stops to Explore
This fall’s stroll has grown to 27 downtown stops, expanding beyond the previous event as even more Mount Dora businesses join the fun.
That means the Ice Cream Stroll isn’t just about the ice cream. It’s designed to get you inside the shops, restaurants and businesses that make downtown Mount Dora what it is.
The spring stroll welcomed approximately 550 attendees, and the fall edition is shaping up to be even bigger.
How It Works
Start at the Mount Dora Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center, where you’ll check in and receive everything you need for the stroll.
Then, choose your own adventure. There is no required route or stop order. Make your way through participating downtown businesses anytime between 2 amd 4 pm, enjoying your samples and exploring at your own pace.
Your ticket includes more than 20 ice cream samples, so all you have to decide is where to start.
