Enjoy the free bluegrass festival featuring Sandy Back Porch, The Canada Brothers Reunion, and Penny Creek Bluegrass Band.
The Fort Christmas Bluegrass Festival returns on Saturday, April 6 from 9:45 am - 4 pm at Fort Christmas Historical Park, 1300 Fort Christmas Rd., Christmas.
This annual free event is a popular event, bring chairs, blankets and a picnic or purchase from food trucks in attendance.
Here's the show schedule and line up of talented performers:
9:45 am. Welcome, National Anthem and Boy Scouts present Flags
10 am. Sandy Back Porch
11 am. The Canada Brothers Reunion
12 pm. Penny Creek Bluegrass Band
1 pm. Sandy Back Porch
2 pm. The Canada Brothers Reunion
3 pm. Penny Creek Bluegrass Band
3:50 pm. Closing remarks
Fort Christmas Historical Park includes a replica of a fort built in 1837 during the Second Seminole Indian War; a traditional Florida "Cracker" house and eight pioneer homes; a schoolhouse and lunchroom; a sugar cane mill and other historical farming equipment.
The historic homes, school and fort are open daily, 9 am - 4 pm, including holidays.
