The Florida Mall, the largest shopping destination in Central Florida, has unveiled the latest Visit Orlando “Unbelievably Real” mural at the shopping destination!
Just in time for the holiday season, The Florida Mall, the largest shopping destination in Central Florida, has unveiled Visit Orlando’s latest “Unbelievably Real” mural at the shopping destination with dazzling displays, deals for the entire family and the official arrival of Santa Claus!
Designed by Orlando-based artist Clark Orr, the large-scale display, which is located at the main entrance, brings to life Orlando’s tourism highlights, from theme parks and beloved landmarks to elements of the region’s dining, arts, culture and technology scenes.
“The addition of this mural will not only enhance The Florida Mall’s current aesthetic, but is a beautiful visual representation of everything Orlando has to offer our local community and visitors from around the world,” said Kevin Caulson, general manager of The Florida Mall. “We are thrilled to partner with our friends at Visit Orlando to bring this beautiful piece of art to life and celebrate this vibrant city with our shoppers.”
The mural will act as an eye-catching photo backdrop for shoppers, adding to the multiple selfie stations peppered throughout the property for the bustling holiday season.
“The partnership with Florida Mall gives us another opportunity to highlight the different aspects that make Orlando so unique,” said Danielle Hollander, chief marketing officer of Visit Orlando. “With this mural installation, Orlando gains another iconic location for visitors to stop by, while also serving as a reminder for locals of all that our destination has to offer."
As part of the unveiling, The Florida Mall is hosting a sweepstakes where one lucky winner will win a three-night stay at The Florida Hotel and Conference Center, a $500 Simon AMEX gift card, four tickets to an Orlando Theme Park and limousine services to and from the theme park.
To enter the giveaway, shoppers must share a photo on Instagram of themselves in front of the mural, tag The Florida Mall (@shopfloridamall) and Visit Orlando (@visitorlando). This promotion will run from Nov. 16-Dec. 18, 2023 and all details will be posted on The FloridaMall’s instagram page.
The “Unbelievably Real” brand platform was created in partnership with the Orlando Economic Partnership to speak to leisure visitors, meeting planners, workforce talent and business audiences.
It has been displayed in Brooklyn, Mexico City, Manchester and London as part of Visit Orlando’s tourism campaigns. This past spring, it was brought home and unveiled in downtown Orlando as part of the destination's 407 Day (April 7) celebration in support of local shops and businesses.
