The City of Orlando celebrates Pride Month with a new Rainbow Swan Boat at Lake Eola

Lake Eola is now a little more colorful, thanks to a brand new Rainbow San Boat.

June is Pride Month, and and Orlando celebrates with huge LGBTQ+ hotel takeovers, special events, magical celebrations, and exciting nightlife, and now you can celebrate with a voyage across Lake Eola on a swan paddle boat!

In recognition of Pride Month, the City of Orlando together with District 4 Commissioner Patty Sheehan, have adding more color to Lake Eola with a newly rainbow-wrapped swan boat.

The city commented via social media, "Whether you're a local or just visiting, we hope this brings a little extra joy to your day and serves as a year-round reminder that we are, and always will be, Orlando United."

Pride Month is celebrated each June, and even though Orlando's Pride Parade and Celebration happens later in the year, there’s a vibrant mix of massive hotel takeovers, high-energy parties, community-centered events, and meaningful moments of reflection throughout June, as the city celebrates Pride Month, and commemorates 10 years since the Pulse tragedy on June 12th, 2016.

One of the most iconic places in downtown Orlando is Lake Eola Park, and you haven’t lived until you’ve taken a trip across Lake Eola on a swan paddle boat!

The City of Orlando rents the pedal-powered swan boats on historic Lake Eola so guests can view the park from the lake and enjoy the fountain up close. 

Each boat holds up to four passengers and can be rented Tuesday - Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm. Swan boats can be rented up to 30 minutes before close 

The City of Orlando do not take reservations. Swan boats are available first-come, first-served, weather permitting. Tickets are only available at Lake Eola and cost $15 for a 30 minute rental.
