This holiday season, the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens will glow once again as it hosts the Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild, presented by Publix! Dawoud Bey’s Evergreen depicts haunting images captured at the Evergreen Plantation of Wallace, Louisiana. Installed across three video channels, the work scans the grounds of the most intact plantation complex still standing in the United States. The work captures swaths of trees and the remnants of living quarters of the historically enslaved Black people.

The Orlando Half Marathon was established in 1977 by the City of Orlando Recreation Department titled the 'Tangerine Bowl Half Marathon'. The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the 73rd annual Winter Park Ye Olde Hometown Christmas Parade.
