Tampa Based Capital Tacos First Orlando Store Now Open In Winter Park

Tampa taco chain Capital Tacos has officially opened its first bricks and mortar store here in Orlando at 7484 University Blvd in Winter Park.

The new store officially opened its doors to hungry customers yesterday, Monday November 22.

The menu at Capital Tacos has dozens of chef-created options from Tex-Mex classics to Catawampus Crazy Fries.

At Capital Tacos their menu is chef-created, made from scratch, from homemade recipes, grilled and then hand-crafted to order.

Their taco slingers make every order on an open grill that’s so hot it makes jalapeños jealous!

The company opened its first location in Tampa back in 2013, when it first opened the store didn't even have a sign, but word quickly spread, and now the single location has grown to nine, including New Port Richey, Land O'Lakes, and Wesley Chapel, with more planned including Clermont at 1042-1044 E Highway 50.

The new Winter Park store is open 11 am until 9 pm every day of the week.

Capital Tacos may already be know to many folks in Orlando as the chain has been operating in the area with a ghost kitchen based out of Orlando’s Dollins Food Hall.

At the new Winter Park location, and the ghost kitchen you can enjoy Orlando exclusives including the DONNY DUCK TACO.

Tender ground duck slow-braised in proprietary Chinese 5-spice and hoisin blend. Topped with housemade creamy slaw, cilantro and sesame seeds.

You can visit the new Winter Park location in person, or you can order your favorite tex-mex creations for pickup or delivery!
