Longwood meet Jack - Jack In The Box opens first Central Florida restaurant in decades!

Central Florida has joined the Jack Pack! Thanks to Jack, Logwood is now home to tJack In The Box.

It was way back in March 2023 we first brought you the news that California based fast food chain Jack In The Box had plans to return to Florida for the first time in over 30 years, with a new restaurant in Orlando included in expansion plans.

Then in February 2024, the company gave an update including a new franchisee for Orlando, Ed Zausch who planned to open 10 new Orlando area restaurants! Then in June 2024, Jack In The Box announced that another 10 restaurants are set to open in Orlando thanks to a different franchise, Dan Soma joining the company. Then we waited and waited, and it's now its finally happened!!

Yes, Jack In The Box has opened its first Central Florida location in decades thanks to franchisee Ed Zausch.

The new Jack in The box is now open 24 hours a day in Longwood, at 815 W. State Road 434.

Jack in the Box is known for its iconic menu that features customer favorites like burgers, tacos, chicken sandwiches, milkshakes, breakfast, and late-night snacking options.

The new Orlando locations is oen 24-hours a day, and offers dine-in, drive-thru, and mobile ordering options. Some of the most popular menu items include:

Sourdough Jack - 100% beef seasoned as it grills, hickory smoked bacon, tomato, Swiss style cheese, mayo, ketchup on toasted sourdough bread

Jack's Spicy Chicken w/cheese - 100% all white meal spicy crispy chicken fillet, Swiss style cheese, tomato, lettuce, mayo on buttery baked bun

Loaded Breakfast Sandwich - Freshly cracked eggs, hickory smoked bacon, grilled ham, grilled sausage and American cheese on toasted sourdough bread

Tacos - beef, melty American cheese, shredded lettuce, signature sauce

Chocolate Overload Cake - Rich chocolate cake made with cocoa, bittersweet chocolate chips and drizzled with chocolate buttercream icing

So now that Jack In The Box has officially opened in Longwood when can we expect more of the planned 20 Central Florida locations to open?

John Young Parkway and Conroy Road in Orlando will be next, with a location in Lake Nona to follow. Further locations in Osceola County, Lakeland and Deltona are planned.
