The Orlando Air and Space Show takes place today, Saturday 29, and tomorrow, Sunday, 30 October, 2022 at the Orlando Sanford International Airport.
Breathtaking aerobatic displays will fill the sky above the airport, while on the ground you can get up close and see some of the U.S militaries finest planes.
The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds who on Thursday, October 27 performed a flyover Cinderella's Castle in Magic Kingdom will headline the show this weekend in Sanford, only a 30 minute drive from Orlando.
Thousands of people will flock to the airport to see the world famous U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the air demonstration squadron, composed of eight highly skilled demonstration pilots, who will be demonstrating a mix of formation flying and solo routines.
Also taking to the skies performing jaw-dropping maneuvers above Sanford Airport is the F-18 Rhino Demo Team, F-22 Raptor Demo Team, Quick Silver P-51D Mustang, Michael Goulian, Buck Roetman, Socom Para-Commandos, the Navy Legacy Flight, C-45 Beechcraft and John Black!
On the ground you can get a close up look at a CH-47 Chinook, C-17 Globemaster, and a KC-135 Stratotanker.
Gates open at 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, with the the aerial demonstrations from noon through until 4 pm.
General admission tickets start at $37.50 per person, children 5 and under are free.
