Wild Florida is once again celebrates gators with unique daily activities, wild encounters, and gator-sized fun for the entire family.
The Croc Squad at Wild Florida Adventure Park are once again hosting the attractions popular Gator Week, a one-of-a-kind event centered around one of Florida’s most recognizable, yet misunderstood animals… the American alligator!
To many, alligators are simply fierce carnivores on the hunt, but that’s not actually the case. Like many misunderstood creatures, myths develop based on a lack of knowledge. Because of this, Wild Florida decided to dedicate an entire week to educating and debunking many common myths surrounding these reptiles, along with some of their reptile cousins, through live demonstrations and interactive experiences.
This year, Gator Week kicks off Memorial Day, May 25, and runs through Saturday, May 30, 2026, with a week full of gator-themed activities and demonstrations. The whole family will have a jaw-snapping good time with unique daily activities, wild encounters, and gator-sized fun!
There will be plenty of fun photo-ops and guest appearances by some of Wild Florida's most popular inhabitants of course!
The best part is Wild Florida will be giving everyone who makes a small cash donation to Wild Florida Cares FREE admission to the attractions Gator Park during Gator Week!
Bills donated will help graduating Osceola County high school seniors pay for college.

Join Wild Florida from May 26 - 30, 2026, for Gator Week, where you and your family can enjoy a week full of gator-themed activities and demonstrations.
DAILY SCHEDULE THROUGHOUT GATOR WEEK:
Feeding Frenzy – Wild Florida is going inside the Gator Pond to find out what the alligator’s favorite food is during the attractions feeding show at 11:30 am and 3 pm. See what type of food makes the gators really jump. The’ll also demonstrate the power behind an alligator’s bite by watching them crush a rack of ribs!
Gator Call Competition – At 12 pm, the’ll focus on the Exotic Animal Show segments on different types of crocodilians. For instance, they will bring out a Nile, caiman, albino, and regular American alligator. Learn the cues that the Croc Squads use to train the gators' new behaviors. These only work on Wild Florida gators, so do not try this in your own backyard. The winner will receive a Wild Florida goodie bag filled with tickets, stickers and more!
Exotic Animal Show – Wild Florida's Exotic Animal Show allows guests to meet some of the parks coolest animals up close like never before. Stick around for the 2:15 pm show for a special wild guest!
Croc Squad Chats - Crusher may be the largest alligator in the Gator Park, but there are a variety of other rare and exotic crocodilian species you can get up close to at Wild Florida. Each day, a member of the Croc Squad will host special informational chats in front of the different exhibits that will only happen during Gator Week!
Monday: Sophia the Orinoco Crocodile with Keeper Daniel
Tuesday: Jasmine the West African Crocodile with Keeper Cobe
Wednesday: Travis the Smooth Fronted Caimen with Keeper Max
Thursday: Bowser the Alligator Snapping Turtle with Keeper Peter
Friday: Raptor and Ariel the Cuvier's Dwarf Caimen with Keeper Daniel
Saturday: Minnow the Salt Water Crocodile with Keeper Christian
Donations made will go to the April and Ranier Munns Wild Florida Scholarship Fund to provide scholarships to graduating Osceola County high school seniors!
