Step into the shadows of the garden for a chilling screening of the classic Halloween film, 1982 Poltergeist.
They’re here… Spend Halloween night in the gardens for a hauntingly good time with the classic feature film Poltergeist.
Smartly filmed, tightly scripted, and most importantly consistently frightening, Poltergeist is a modern horror classic.
Poltergeist was released by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer on June 4, 1982. The film was a commercial success and earned $76,606,280 in the United States, making it the highest-grossing horror film of 1982, and eighth overall for the year.
The gardens open at 6 pm, and we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before showtime due to the walk to the movie area. Be sure to bring your picnic dinner and seating with you upon entry.
Cost:
$10.00 adult, $8.00 child (4-17 years of age), plus online fees.
Tickets are not available at the door. Check in ends 30 minutes after the movie starts.
Leu Members receive free admission to all movie nights, Membership Card and ID required. Leu Members please make sure your membership is current and not expired. Members do not need a ticket. Space is limited, first come first serve basis. No Guest Passes. Not applicable to AHS or any Reciprocal Garden.
Parking:
Parking is free. If parking is full please park on main roads where it is legal or off Nebraska on Leu Gardens’ grass. Leu Members, please park in Member Lot until full.
Movie Etiquette:
For the enjoyment of all, please place cell phones on silence during the movie. Leu Gardens is smoke free.
