Space Coast nudist beach named one of the best in the world - Where to bare all!

Playalinda Beach in Brevard County has long been popular with Florida nudists, and it has now been recognized as one of the best nude beaches in the world.

Get ready to bare all, and work on those tan lines at one of the world's best nude beaches in the world, right here in Central Florida!

To find out which beaches around the world are best for nude sunbathing, swimwear company Pour Moi ranked them based on which ones allow it and reviews from nudists who’ve actually been.

Top of Pour Moi’s list was Haulover Beach Park in Miami, with Playalinda Beach in the Space Coast coming in at number 20 in the best nude beaches in the world.

Canaveral National Seashore, is actually home to two of the best nude beaches in Florida, managed by the National Parks Service, Playlinda Beach towards the South of the park and Apollo beach towards the North.

Playalinda is the better known of two nude beaches, with Apollo Beach farther north, at the northern end of Canaveral National Seashore. It is not as popular as the park’s southern beach, Playalinda, mainly because there is far less parking.

Playalinda Beach is located at the southern end of Canaveral National Seashore near the Kennedy Space Center and Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.

Playlinda stretches over 24-miles, and this beautiful beach is bordered by sand. dunes covered with sea oats, beach sunflowers and berries. The beach attracts large crowds, but there is plenty of room to spread out since you can be naked for as far north as you could possibly care to walk. The accepted nude area begins at beach entrance/crossing 13, accessible through parking lot 13.

Make sure that you keep your clothes on until you have crossed over the boardwalk. This is a clothing optional beach but absolutely no nudity in the parking lot.

There is a fee of $20.00 per vehicle(cars, mini-vans, etc..) valid for 7 days, $15 for motorcycles, and $10 for cyclists and pedestrians to enter Cape Canaveral National Seashore.

Park hours are 6 am - 8pm (summer) & 6am - 6pm (winter).

The beach is just an hour’s drive from Disney, so try adding it to your itinerary if you have time and you want to feel the sun on your bum, oh and don't forget the suntan lotion!
