Snowcat Ridge brings Real Snow, Tubing, Ice Skating and Holiday Fun to Central Florida

A cold front is on it's way as Florida's only real snow park, Snowcat Ridge announces opening date for 2026-27 Holiday Season with tickets on sale now!

Snowcat Ridge, Florida’s only Alpine Snow Park, will return for its seventh season on Saturday, November 14, bringing snow, ice and holiday magic back to Central Florida for guests of all ages.
Located in Dade City, Florida, Snowcat Ridge offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a variety of winter experiences right here in the Sunshine State, from snow tubing and ice skating to playing in real snow and even meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus.
In anticipation of the 2026 opening, Snowcat Ridge is offering guests 10% off standard general admission tickets now through November 1 with online promo code SNOWSBACK10.
“We’re excited to kick off our seventh season and welcome guests back to Snowcat Ridge to create priceless holiday memories,” said Jon Pianki, Chief Marketing Officer at Snowcat Ridge. “This park has become such a special place where families and friends travel from all over to experience something they can't find anywhere else in Florida.”

Among the Snowcat Ridge fan-favorites returning this year are the famed Snowy Slopes, the park’s iconic 60-foot-tall, 400-foot-long snow tubing hill. This unique experience uses moving sidewalk conveyor lifts to transport guests to the top of the hill, where they can choose from single, tandem and 10-person snow tubing options to race down the slopes.
Snowy Slopes also features a nightly music and light show visible throughout the entire park, bringing the holiday spirit to guests each night.

Another popular attraction is the 16,000 square-foot Crystal Ribbon features a 600-foot-long ice-skating track, together with a beginner’s oval, allowing guests of all skill levels to enjoy outdoor ice skating in sunny Florida.

Guests looking for a true snow experience can head to the Arctic Igloo, where heaps of real snow fill the massive 10,000 square-foot snow dome, with temperatures kept around 30 degrees. Bunny slopes are also available in the Arctic Igloo for riders under 42 inches tall or age three and younger.

From opening day through December 24, families can bring their children to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus in Santa’s Christmas Lane, enjoy Storytime with Mrs. Claus, take photos with Santa himself and more.
Following the Christmas holiday, Flurry, the Snowcat Ridge friendly snow leopard, will transform this section of the park into Flurry’s Outpost, featuring opportunities to meet Flurry, enjoy a book reading with Snowcat Ridge’s Snow Queen and play in the Peppermint Play Zone.

At the center of the park is the Alpine Village, where guests can grab food and beverages, shop for holiday gifts and souvenirs, relax around fire pits and enjoy views of the park. The village features five food court outlets, a biergarten, cozy s’mores, igloo shelters with seating overlooking the slopes and nightly light shows.
Guests celebrating a special occasion or looking for a more private experience can look to reserve an igloo in the Eskimo Outpost. Igloos can accommodate up to 25 guests and provide a more private setting for families, friends, celebrations, holiday events and other gatherings.
General admission tickets are available for purchase now and start at $24.95, including entrance to the park, access to Santa’s Christmas Lane and more. Tickets for dedicated snow tubing times, as well as unlimited tubing and various VIP options, can be purchased in advance or at the park. A general admission ticket is required for all guests two years and older to enter.
This year guests visiting Snowcat Ridge can also enjoy the all-new holiday light attraction, Wunder Glow, where you will journey through more than a mile of magical holiday light scenes, festive music and interactive experiences set among 50-acres of Florida’s majestic
oaks.
