A small plane has made a surprise landing early Tuesday, with the plane making an emergency landing on the median of East Colonial Drive at Taylor Creek Road!
If you've been stuck in traffic this morning on E.Colonial tell you boss its because a small plane used the road as an airstrip!
Orange County Fire Rescue Department have reported today, Tuesday, May 23 that a small private plane made an unscheduled landing on E. Colonial Drive at Taylor Creek Road, in East Orange County.
Orange County Fire Rescue said there were three people aboard and that the pilot and two passengers were uninjured, OCFR also reported that the incident has been reported to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Orange County Sheriff's deputies are on the scene, and although E Colonial was closed for a time, the plane has now been moved to the median, and the road is now open with one lane closed in each direction, with traffic moving slowly.
