Slow Down Cowboy! Reservations open then kinda mess up for Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Hollywood Studios

Reservations for Roundup Rodeo BBQ are now available!

Lots of folks wake up early this morning to make reservations for their posse as reservations opened for the soon to open Roundup Rodeo BBQ restaurant at Disney's Hollywood Studios which officially opens March 23, 2023.

Sadly things appear not have gone to plan, just as we announced that reservations were available, we started to get reports on our social media channels that people were unable to get a reservation.

Once we started to investigate the issue, it appears that Walt Disney World had only made limited reservations available, with perhaps only the opening date for reservations, March 23, available!

Some guests say that they have been able to make a successful reservations, but the overall majority were unable to make a reservation due to no availability for the date and time they were trying to book.

Then is appears that Disney knew something was wrong, as just over an hour after reservations opened, the Walt Disney World website and My Disney Experience app were updated to remove the button that allowed guests to make reservations, not only for Roundup Rodeo BBQ, but for ALL restaurants at the resort.

Since then, Disney have fixed the problem for other restaurants, but for Roundup Rodeo BBQ, the website and the app was changed to show a message that advised guests to “check back on February 21, 2023 for information on how to book reservations”.

No announcements have been issued by Walt Disney World following the technical issues this morning, we recommend checking the Walt Disney World website or My Disney Experience app throughout the day for when reservations for Roundup Rodeo BBQ open up.
